Which for GTA IV? Xbox 360 or PS3?

Get it for 360. The PS3 version is a 360 port.

I'm pretty sure you can preload it onto your 360's HDD too.. It's just that it's an option isntead of a requirement.

I'll be getting the 360 version for the extra content, and so I don't have to buy rumble.

If you get GTA IV for the PS3 because you read the graphics will be slightly better, I can understand, but RROD is a reason not to get a console, not whether to buy a game. At least RROD is covered for 3 years, and I'm beginning to doubt it's on the newer consoles; my 360 doesn't even get hot. I'll consider getting another PS3 when they fix their "yellow light of death" problem.

And the extra DLC for the 360 should make this choice easy, jeez.

Yes. RROD still exists. Probs will be solved by jasper chipset which is due for release this summer. Speculatory, but RROD is caused by overheating. So playing GTA4 constantly for a lengthy period of time may increase it's liklihood, but I am just speculating.
