Assuming the progression of computer chips goes on . . . Which consoles CPU will cook food better?

The new Nintendo console, the new Sony console or the new Microsoft console?

Thanks! =D

CPUs are getting cooler...

Even with nm sizes getting smallers? One would think all that dense amount of transistors would heat up. Especially since console makers might wish to go up from the 3Ghz current consoles are set at.

Hmm.

I think they are gettings cooler.... an i7 2600k can over clock to 4.7 ghz on stock air cooling... Back in 2007 my q6600 would be lucky to get to 3ghz overclock. I think the smaller the chip the less voltage it needs, thus easier to cooldown.

Hmm.

Smaller chips use less power. Less electricity, less heat.

Well, there has to be a certain amount of volotage applied in order to get a certain amount of Mhz.

Also, I believe the advent of multi-cores made chips ble to use less voltage and do more mult-threading stuff.

What I also heard about multi-cores is that they can be fragile and have cores which malfuctions but, I am not certain if that error rate is more or less with minimal amonut of cores (or just a single CPU unit).

Well, sine Microsoft is known for having over-heating systems that burn-out the CPU, I'm guessing Microsoft's next console would...!

I doubt they would make the same mistake twice....they would be idiots if they don't test the next system properly

360 GPU burns out not the CPU.

wii2. the only difference is in the wii2s case its designed to cook food....namely paninis and/or wraps and brew a fine coffee :P. killer feature right there. nah seriously i think the next gen consoles will be cooler than this ones. alot of time and money is being spent on getting smaller and more mobile hardware up to speed and i think all 3 will be using it or at least some of the advances made in this area in their next consoles.

I am not sure if the cell processor has a cooling system. I believe the GPU's need a fan at least, presuming they are like their stock GPU counter parts which always seem to have a cooling system.
