I've played it, and the music didn't impress me, repetitive and stuff, I've heard the battle music, it's awesome, but the other repetitive (and non-existant) tracks drag it down a little.

The Halo series has the best music in games today, not only because it is good, but because it is distinctly "Halo".

Most of the time I have my own MP3s playing when playing a game, so I don't pay much attention to game music.

But GTA: Vice City had some great 80s music with plenty of Radio Channels, that would be my number one choise. Zelda OOT, Bloodlines and Gothic3 have nice musical scores as well.

This is my opinion on the take.

The Halo franchise has music that highly complements a shooter, classical music with guitar and rcok and all that cool stuff. I think it has the best music for a shooter.

But overall best music, I'd say the Fire Emblem franchise. Those games had wicked music.

but i'd say halo, zelda, and final fantasy have the best music.

Super Smash Brothers: Brawl.

They have a large amout of composers working for them, including Metal Gear Solid, Nobuo Uematsu, etc.

About 32, or something. Check the website if you don't beleive me.
