Sony easily. The first PS3 commercials were terrible but the new Kevin Butler commercials are pretty funny, for the most part, and are much better than MS or Nintendo commercials. In fact, I rarely see a 360 or a Wii commercial anymore.
The Kevin Butler commercials are awesome if you ask me. Freaking love those commercials. The worst gaming commercials do not come from the actually game companies, but from Gamestop. Most of those are just terrible.
Besides for the first PS3 commercials, Sony has always been great in that department. Love these Kevin Butler ones. I'm not even sure what ads Microsoft and Nintendo are running right now..?
ahh this makes me reminisce over the good old smash bros commercials with the "so happy together" song.... but ya Kevin Butler with his waggle definitely takes the thrown today.
Currently, Sony has a great marketing campaign with the "It Can Only Do Everything" line of commercials. I enjoyed a good number of Nintendo's older advertisements, such as "Wii Would Like to Play" and that old Super Mario 64 "Got Milk?" commercial.

beginning of this gen i'd say nintendo or MS. sony's previous campaigns where terrible. lately they have gotten better and i think i like them best now but they are starting to feel like those "I'm a Mac" commercials. the arrogance is starting to get annoying rather than funny.
