Perhaps Prince of Persia or perhaps in Eternal Darkness with all the suffering that happened and cruel fates.ArisShadowsoh man eternal darkness was one F'ed up game man. great game. it was one of the best games last gen. i hope silicon knights makes a sequal or a new game like it. also the MGS3 ending with the boss was a pretty sad one. the mgs1 ending that didnt count with meryl dieing wasnt as sad but it was worthy of notice. not many games have sad endings but i will say grayfox dieing in mgs really was a downer. especially on the gc remake with the improved graphics and better cutscenes from the original (IMO). it was even more messed up cause liquid didnt just step on and smoosh fox with rex. he smeared him around the floor.
If you cry while your playing a video game you are completelyI'm pretty sure the expression "tear jerker" isn't supposed to be taken literally here, but if the people responding are taking it in the literal sense, then I totally agree with you, even though games are getting better at it in that regard.GeneralZ0d
If you cry while your playing a video game you are completelyVideo games are like movies alike, they imply feelings to us because were so intuned with the characters that we feel like it`s real, it`s okay to cry while playing a video game, depends on the storyline and how well its told to give you that feeling, generally like movies.GeneralZ0d

Yeah im sorry about that, I will leave you to blubber over FF7 or whatever fictional rubbish that makes you weep. There hasn't been a videogame with a plot strong enough to warrant any terribly strong emotion out of me. But it's not like I'm not crying only because of preconcieved notions of manliness.[QUOTE="GeneralZ0d"][QUOTE="bman784"][QUOTE="GeneralZ0d"]If you cry while your playing a video game you are completely

Both those games have about as much emotional impact as watching a chess tournament. The only emotion I felt after finishing MGS2 was one of deep regret for having wasted money on renting it.[QUOTE="tegovoltio"][QUOTE="GeneralZ0d"][QUOTE="bman784"][QUOTE="GeneralZ0d"]If you cry while your playing a video game you are completely

Yes, it was my friend (one can't have friends huh?) read my post, if I'd cried at both I'd admit it. For some reason I just get pissed at the ''sad'' moments for whatever that happened. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask,
The Anju and Kafei sidequest was a tear jerker..  Anyone who has played that game knows what I'm talking about.
[QUOTE="SergeantSnitch"][QUOTE="HazeNPopes"]I though Kingdom Heart was, i just felt depressed and was eager to play part 2!!HoffgodTeh MGS3 Agreed. The end part about The Boss had me tearing up. Me to!! THe part where it tells the REAL reason why the boss defected, it made me tear up and also made me upset thinking "wtf" Great story!
