Which game had the best graphics last generation on console?

Was it just gran turismo, i dont really know since i didnt game that much last gen. please exclude pc games.

For the PS2 I would say Shadow of the Colossus

I didn't buy any graphically imppressive games for my GC (for the short time I owned one)

I never had an Xbox and rarely played one so I can't really coment on those

Some of my favorite graphics from last gen were Final Fantasy XII, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Fable, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War, etc.

Best though? Probably goes to Resident Evil 4, Ninja Gaiden, or GT I would assume. Chronicles of Riddick or Doom 3 maybe?

Conker: Live and Reloaded, easily.

Perhaps the best looking game last gen.

It actually ran in some lower scale hd resolutions too

The most graphically impressive game on the Gamecube was Resident Evil 4 (2005).

The most graphically impressive games on the PS2 were Metal Gear Solid 3 (2004), SotC (2005), Final Fantasy XII (2006) and God of War 2 (2007).

The most graphically impressive games on the Xbox were Ninja Gaiden (2004), Riddick (2004), SC: Chaos Theory (2005), Doom 3 (2005) and Black (2006).

I don't think there's really any concensus... a lot of it is determined by taste. But many of the Xbox games were technically very impressive, even if the PC versions were superior.
