The Cod series set in the Pacific would be cool.

Probably it won't be many.. The first CryEngine was pretty good but you didn't see many game developers going crazy all over it..

So don't be surprise if you don't see the CryEngine2 being use alot.. It won't gain popularity like the Unreal Engine that's for sure.

Some random first-player perspective game where you must survive in the wilds, hunting for food and using stones and sticks for weapons.

Which one is more developer-friendly and cheaper to license?

according to Crytek, the Cryengine, makes games and maps much easier and faster to make.

From what I saw at the engine Demonstration video....its by far easier to use in virtually everything then Unreal Editor (the Unreal Enigne software)

All of them...seriously, if every game was remade with the Cry Engine and multi-million dollar budgets, that would kick so much ass.

I believe that EA should stick to the BF series...KONAMI/SEGA are much better in sports games...

I only say EA as they are currently working with Crytek on publishing Crysis, and with Cryengine 2's great facial and body animation system, could be interesting to see what any sports game would look like using it.

Elder Scrolls 5, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic 2, BLACK 2, The Sims 3!

And from the looks of the previews. CRYENGINE2 >>>>>> Unreal Engine 3.Â
