Which game will get the most awards this year ?

Games most likely in my opinion to potentially get awards are Crysis, Mass Effect, Super Smash 3, MGS 4, maybe bioshock, and a few other on the side.

The game i think will get the most awards overall from like all the sites/mags and stuff this year will be halo 3.

So what do you think ?

No one loves Mario more than I, but what a load of ****, we've seen VERY little on the game, definately not enough to know if it'll be the next SM64.

The video shown at GDC looked awesome though, and there has never been a BAD game in the main Mario series.

I agree, however SM: Sunshine was pretty close to being bad. I still enjoyed the game, but not nearly as much as SM64.

Crysis probably, possibly Mass Effect.

But I'm rooting for Heavenly Sword, it actually got quite a lot of awards last E3 though.

I don't think Halo3 will get too many awards from Gamespot, but definitely from magazines and other sites. Gamespot will most likely have more in The Bad section than The Good; I can already see complaints about it being too similar to Halo1/2 and not offering "innovation" (as in stupid new things that aren't necessarily more fun).

There are a lot of single player games being hyped this year, but none of them look really amazing to me. Games like Bioshocks, Mass Effect, Mario Galaxy, and even Crysis haven't made me a bit excited (well, compared to multiplayer games coming out). Multiplayer > single player, as always.

Crysis has pro-gamers testing and helping along its Multiplayer Development , dont count Crysis out of Multiplayer yet ;)

May flop, may not, sounds awesome though.

I think that there will be evenly-spread between all of them ...

Nintendo - Super Smash Bros Brawl, Super Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.

360 - Halo 3, Assasins Creed (also PS3)

Sony - Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII.

PC - Crysis

Crysis will get tons of technical awards, as will Bioshock. Mass Effect should end up like another KOTOR and get the most awards.Spartan070

I have to agree. Although it's kind of hard to judge right now. After E3 it should be a lot easier. Who knows, maybe there's different a game that will blow us away with all the new vids and info released.

Yea I would rather the latter scenario too. Bring on the new I.Ps
