i got both versions and PC version is better... so if you got a good gaming PC i'd say go for that version..
This. It's the truth.360 has better graphics, better online and superior controls. its a no-brainer

The PC version blows the Xbox 360 version away. I have about 40 hours in each and the level of competition and skill required for the PC version is far greater than the Xbox 360 version.

I nvr understood this, for years I heard how in general pc gaming took more skill. But when I finally got a gaming rig I was owning people from day one. Either way pc is easily the better platform.

Go play a real PC shooter like Counter Strike Source, Quake Live, and Unreal Tounry 2k4. You'll quickly see what I mean about skill.

Skill cap is way higher on PC, more buttons andfaster play (Hi-speed mouse). There is only so much you can do with a console controller. Also, if the game you were owning people in is a CoD game, it doesn't count. That game has a massively low skill cap.
I am on the fence, here. I want to pick up Battlefield 2: Bad Company. I own an XBOX 360 and an awesome gamer PC. Which platform in your opinion would be better/more fun to play the game?MikeJ2746It pretty much comes down to preference. Do you prefer a controller or m/kb? Granted you can use a controller on the PC too. I would look at it as what platform are you're friends playing it on if they are. Then decide based on that.
PC far and away.
1) Better controls (you can use crappy dual analog if you want :P)
2) Better graphics with a smoother framerate (unless your PC sucks)
3) 32 players (consoles only have 24)
and much more. If it is an FPS (or any game for that matter) on PC and consoles I buy it on PC ;).

Counter strike was the first game I played. I only had trouble with pro snipers.
Edit: Also people who were good with pistols were annoying.
[QUOTE="dog_dirt"]This. It's the truth. Negative. The PC has better graphics, higher resolution, higher framerate, customisable FOV, etc... It is a shooter, so of course mouse and keyboard are better control options. PC has a better community, free online, more player slots in games, dedicated servers, etc... I just don't get what goes through some peoples' minds...360 has better graphics, better online and superior controls. its a no-brainer

Actually the consoles look worse than medium settings and have more pop in than low. They certainly don't get 60 fps.[QUOTE="MK-Professor"]

Would you rather have aaston martin, or a dodge charger.
If you have a capable pc there is no reason to play bc2 or 90 percent of multi plats on consoles
If I'm paying the bill? The Charger, please. Actually, a Mustang, please - I'd rather drive an American car, not a Fiat.Would you rather have aaston martin, or a dodge charger.

still the gaming pc version is better and more affordable. Also comparing the console to a charger is insulting to the charger. Consoles would be closer to a 92 corolla while PC's would be 2011 lambroghini. The really high end pcs would be the F1 racing cars. A charger is more for a budget computer of about $400.
xbox 360-->300
1 year xbox live -->50
game +expansion-->90
already the price is more than a budget gaming rig one can easily build for $400
online pc gamin--->free
game + expansion -->30
I'd really consider a V6 pony car vs. a V8 to be a closer analogy. The difference just isn't as big as your analogy suggests.still the gaming pc version is better and more affordable. What about the ratio of people with mics? I find that is a very crucial part for team work, especially for a game such as Battlefield. That would be the biggest factor for me determining the better version of the game.The PC version blows the Xbox 360 version away. Having played both BFBC2 on the PS3 and PC I can honestly say that the console version looks like complete crap when compared to the PC version. That's not even factoring in controls. If you really need mics, which I find that you don't because Battlefield players actually know what teamwork is, then the clan servers usually offer Ventrilo or Teamspeak since they are 100x better than whatever the hell it is DICE put it.
