pc if you have time for patches and stuff, 360 if you just want to jump in and playJetB1ackNewYear
If voice chat is really important to you, 360 leads there (in sheer amount of people with mics and ease of use).
Everything else: PC.

depends on what server you play, you will find a few players with headsets on pubs, and everyone will have a headset on a more serious match/server especially if you have a clan.
also bf2 on pc has built in voip

PC is the only platform worth playing BF2 on IMO. (not sure how many people use mics on it, never got it working online..)
But on the original xbox, most people on BF2 had mics.

Fine if thats your opinion.
But I think the 360 is definently better when it comes to voice, infact, how can you get better then standard voice in all games? (correct me if thats wrong) The console comes bundled with a headset in most areas, meaning most people have one.
As for the PC, most games will require you to have another program (Team Speak or Vent for example) to get voice chat at all, however, more and more PC games seem to have built in voice support lately. And not that many people have Mics in my experience.

You know why the PC beats the 360 in terms of voice ? To mute a player inmost games its as simple as hitting tab, then clicking the voice icon for that player on the player list. 360 = a grueling process that if I did it to everyone on XBL that vomited there voice over the mic, my 360 controllers guide button would be worn out by now......[QUOTE="user_nat"][QUOTE="l-_-l"][QUOTE="user_nat"] sorry, but PC even kills in voice. If voice chat is really important to you, 360 leads there (in sheer amount of people with mics and ease of use).

(edit: your post was updated to be clearer about that now)
I don't think thats a very good reason for saying voice chat on PC > 360. Atleast the 360 offers the mute feature on every single game. Although it is slightly annoying to do it, Halo 3 makes it easy though.
There's no monthly pay for live, its $50 for a year (or 13 months). Some people say its pricey but heck, you can play every xbox and xbox 360 game with it online instead of just one game, World of Warcraft, for $180 a year.
