Umm, Eternal Sonata is better. You can usually tell when Gamespots score is actually higher than other review averages and user reviews, something is a little off about it, because they tend to score games lower, all things being equal. BD left no wiggle room. It's just bad.

I would wait for a really good one to come out. To me, ES is about a 8.0, and BD wasn't worth my time, though I have seen it played, so I could be wrong, and I won't rate it here.

Tales of Symphonia GCN is WAY better than ES, but ES is still an alright game, imo.

FFIII for DS is better to me, hmm, tons of games for the PS2 and a few for the GCN/PSP are better. There are even some western RPG's that blow both of those games out of the water.

My recommendation: Get some GBA games and a 4 axis 4 button controller, and wait it out. Bound to be some good ones out pretty soon.

If it's between those two games though, ES x1million.

Tales of Symphonia was a good but overlooked game.

Final Fantasy XII is the worst Final Fantasy ever made, so I'll pass.

I agree that is the main reason I want it, I played the Demo and it was awesome.
