Uhhhhh. Ps3 or PC. Have the option to choose either with my PC, 360 and PS3 always hooked up to my TV (and PC audio channeled through the TVs audio as well as my speakers. The 360s DVD playback simply sucks though. PS3's is great, upscaling is nice, and the PC is good too, using VLC.

now that i have a ps3 player, i use it as my dvd/bluray/media center. Quieter than the 360 and all that. *Not that I ever used the 360 to play DVDs, but I did use it to stream stuff from my PC.
I watch DVDs on my PS3, I have put a DVD in my older 360 without HDMI and it didn't look that good but have heard the HDMI models upscale but I have not tried it yet.

netflix, you have to pay for. facebook twitter last.fm lame. you can stream on the ps3.

There nothing better than sitting on my comfortable chair laying back and watching dvds on my pc, but if given another choice I prefer it on my dvd player.
i think watching dvds is a similar experience for both 360 and ps3, as they both have dvd upscalers in them and are generally pretty competent at dvd playback, although a dedicated player might beat them both now. as for pc i don't know you can get various programs for dvd playback, so it depends what program you are using, although i'd pick 360 and ps3 if i didn't have my pc connected to my tv (which i don't.)
