Which is the best RTS dev nowadays?

Allright, who do you guys think is the best RTS Dev currently?

I know bliz will get alot of the votes, but personally, mine goes to Ensemble, I've loved all of there games, AOM especially, it seems like if bliz had made AOM, and called it warcraft 3, it would be huge (I think AOM is better than any of bliz's RTS, personally).

Bliz IMO is overrated for there RTS, warcraft 2 was great at the time, starcraft is much less amazing then people say it is, and WC3 is just.. allright... the Diablos on the other hand are f'ing awesome...

Anyway.. bliz hasent made an RTS in years.. so that also changes my perception of the CURRENTLY, and ensemble making a Halo spinoff annoys me... I really hope thats not all MS has them do anymore.. it would be such a waste (plus i'd never see AOM2.. and that would be dissapointing).

Havent played a CC in awile..

Total wars are also great, imo... but definatly different from other RTS, but.. close enough that i'll put them in here though.

Havent gotten to play supcom yet... looks good though.. and TA was fantastic..

EA because of C&C. I don't care if other RTS are better, I'm a total C&C slut.pundog

What did Relic make, am I totally forgetting about a big franchise? If so I might have to remake the poll without Total war (like I said, not really the same, but.... close enough to compare).

EA = C&C franchise

Gas-powered games = SupCom

Creative Assembly = Total War series

Ensemble = AOE franchise, AOM

Blizzard = Warcraft series, and (soon) starcraft series

Yeah, some of Westwood became part of EA LA and the rest formed petroglyph

I chose Gas Powered Games just because i've been addicted to SUpCom lately.  I love the unique econ in that game.  It's all about efficiency rather than how much you can produce.  You can't store stuff for later (at least not easily) so it's all using what you have when you have it, and never being idle.

Why wasn't relic on the list?  Company of Heroes is an amazing game.

relic doesnt really have A MEGA franchise like the other companies, but all their RTS's have ben great.

relic doesnt really have A MEGA franchise like the other companies, but all their RTS's have ben great.

Who here wants to bet that 90% of the people that chose Blizzard aren't rts gamers and they chose them just because of name recognition or WoW?
