Different people have different opinions and similarly different websites have different winners for game of the year 2008.Last year(2007) unanimously game of the year award was given to Super Mario Galaxy, followed by Call of Duty 4 and Bioshock.So which is the unanimously acclaimed game of the year of 2008 ?

and we don't know about 2008.So now I ll write the names of the games which won GOTY from different websites and after a week We will deduce over all games of the uear of 2008.You should also add the games which were given GOTY from different websites.

I just don't know how Fallout 3 picked up any awards at all, it was an ok game but thats it, ok. The best part was the simulation, I had so much fun I didn't want to leave.

Guys games please !! You are breaking the rythmFine, MGS4 definitely deserved it, Persona 4 but I don't think it got it from any sites, LBP deserved its award, yeah thats about it I think, there were a lot of great games in 08, but not GOTY great.
I can't speak for MGSIV because I have no interest in that series, but Fallout 3 was amazing imo. I'm on my second play through and have discovered a whole games worth of content I totally missed during the first play through. It's one of the few WRPGs I've actually enjoyed and my GOTY '08.
Obviously the only truly great game of 2008 were Fallout 3 or MGS4. I think bith are brilliant and although I am a fan of both of them, the only game of 2008 that could stand up to Fallout 3 was MGS4 and it was the last MGS so I will have to go with MGS4 being the 2008 game of the year with Fallout 3 taking second. I sincerely hope as a gamer that we never experience a year like 2008 again...because well frankly it was a crap year...only 2 games worthy of game of the year.
