lmao all the people saying ps3 obviously dont own one this thing is bringing entertainment back to its roots.jim_bojonesWhen has the root of gaming been about advanced graphics, online, and a network that allows you to purchase/download a variety of crap.
I personally think it's the Xbox 360 since the only good game on there id Halo.SoulSlashez
the wii is the worst the 360 is the best because the only good games on it are ac2and1,gears 1and2,l4d,l4d2,halo3,odst,cod2,3,4,5and 6,dragon age origins,the orange box, c&c3,and red alert3, bad company,burnout,batman aa,hawx, endwar, halo wars,borderlands,bfme2,gta4,shadow complex,bioshock,fallout3,fable2,mass effect, 1943, trials,geometry wars2,n+,castle crashers,defense grid,oblivion,dead space,rainbow six,splinter cell,civ rev,the force unleashed dead rising, crackdown,resident evil 5,braid,xmen origins,madden and a bunch of others.
Real consoles like the ps3 and 360, are perceived as electronic entertainment devices. while the wii is percieved as a fisher price like toy. the wii uses anitquated motion sensing technology along with awfully outdated hardware and crappy out of date series like mario to appel to little ten year olds who are only into wii because they can play tennis.lordthreedog
lol i love these kind of guys who just kind of show up and really let loose, you know?
anyway, my ps3 has been my 'worst' console in terms of household usage. if it was just me back in the college days or whatever i would have considered my wii a waste of money. but now when i have children and family to deal with, its great. the ps3 was really lacking until recently. maybe ill like it better than the 360 when this generation is ACTUALLY OVER.
Most of that is just an opinion and doesn't change the fact that the Wii is lacking in all of those things when compared to the other systems, your argument just seems to be things that you feel make up for its short comings, but those short comings exist regardless.well you could counter that though saying
it has splitscreen still that's actually good and isn't a system relying on online
has the least generic good titles
has the best lasting hardware that doesn't break as easily
3rd party isn't basicly just shooters
etc..

Depends on what you mean by worst.
Worst games (for gamers): Wii. Listing to there post E3 discussions always makes me angry at them.
Hardware: Xbox 360. The 360's failer rate is not just worst this gen, but possible worst in any gen.
Sales (current): PS3. A high starting price, and awful launch ad campaign has kept the PS3 in 3rd place (for now).
I'd go with this. There are some nice gems from the Wii but it's buried underneath the tons of shovelware. But personally, I prefer the Xbox 360 less because most of the games that I wanted went to the PS3 eventually (Tales of Vesperia and Star Ocean 4)There are no bad systems this generation.
Every single one of the current-gen systems, PS3, Xbox360, Wii, PSP, DS and PC offers a great amount and variety of games for owners of just one of these systems to keep them occupied for years. You may have preferences, but to say that any of the platforms this generation would be a bad purchase is completely bonkers. To say that any of these platforms does not have enough good games to warrant a purchase is pure blindness and uninformedness.
The Wii and of course the PS3.Panosola
Panosola. Hahaa.
Here we go again. The perfect lemming.
Anyway. The Wii wins the title of worst. By far.
PSP or PSP go whatever. Leave the handhelds to nintendo.tirralirraResistance retribution would like to have a word with you. lol i love mentioning that game whenever i can, god i love it. :) But on-topic, i would say the 360, but thats not saying much, since it is nice, just i have a ps3 too, and when i decide to buy multiplats, im always buying ps3 because idgaf about the SLIGHTEST graphical differences, and that controller makes me want to drop kick a dog.

Yeah, I played that, but thats 1 game. i cant think of any others for the PSP whereas the DS...where do i start...waay too many to list
all 3 systems have their faults.
ps3 has fixed many of the faults(price tag etc) but still consumes the most amount of electricity(almost double what wii and 360 do)
360 still breaks and ms refuses to find a cure for it
wii has unbeliveable amount of shovelware in which 3rd party good games end up being harder to find without research

360 for games, reliability and milkage.RedruM_Idont forget their influence on paying to play online.
I personally think it's the Xbox 360 since the only good game on there id Halo.SoulSlashezI am sure you can find other great games for the XBox 360, since there is a lot of great titles for it unless none of them fit your gaming preference? For me it has to be the Nintendo Wii, and it is pretty simple because they haven't been putting out enough great first party titles like they did with the Nintendo Gamecube. Maybe other gamers have enjoyed it, but the lack of first party games for it is pretty disappointing in my opinion.
Hard to say.
Up until this year, I would have went with PS3 for sure but now I give it to the Wii hands down.
well everyone else is saying the wii so i'll just go with the wii.lolwait wait.i have a wii.uhh i'll just say all three of them since they eachhave there individual problems.[QUOTE="egalsim"]
The Wii.

Wii. A gimmicky controller, 10 year old hardware, 5 games that would interest anyone over 12 and terrible online.LiquidSnake1001*facepalm* The rumble and analog stick were considered gimmicks and now look at how they are used Hardware : You exaggerated, its stronger than the xbox Games : More like more than 30 games interest gamers Online : Ok, its not as good as xbl or psn, but its not terrible. Its good
Easily the wii. It's not a console for serious gamers IMO. The lack of decent games on the system that appeal to the hardcore demographic, the horrendous online, and the craptacular graphics have earned it that position. The 360 would be second worst due to it's horrible hardware failure rate and M$ milkage but at least the 360 has good games on it.

Its good You should keep in mind that this is how people simply view the Wii to be like. After owning one myself, sure there are some exaggerations but, I agree it's the worst of the 3. Being stronger than xbox doesn't stop the Wii from being inferior to Ps3/360 in terms of hardware. The games even show that. Also, how many games interest gamers depends on the individual. I can safely say I have no regrets selling my Wii to someone who would have more fun with it than I did. As for the online....really, that's not worth defending. It's pretty bad all around. I guess what I'm saying is that if you look passed the Wii bashing, the Wii is disliked for some pretty serious reasons. It's not all fanboy blabber. The Wii just isn't that good even when compared to older Nintendo consoles. I believe the only reason why this happened is because Nintendo is focusing to much on casuals rather than appealing to both sides. The fan reactions were bond to be like this.
I think the nintendo wii. People only buy it to lose weight and for lazy people who want excercise without leaving the comfort of their home. As a gaming machine it is not sufficient. As a next gen console it is seriously overshadowed by the ps3 and 360, too childish aswell. It is too much of a family console and the graphics are worse than that of a ps2. Nuff said.
What qualifies you to say this? I am a serious gamer and I love the Wii. I think it has plenty of games that appeal to me. Matter of fact I have more Wii games than PS3 games and I play the Wii more often than my PS3. The graphics look pretty decent too I think. But then again I prefer good gameplay and a fun game over a game that looks pretty but brings teh suck in gameplay. As for online, not everyone plays online or een wants to play online. I am one of those people. i have yet to play any game online on either of my systems. Mostly due to the fact that most online multiplayer games are shooters, a genre I personally don't care for as they are all the same and all bore me to tears. Yes that includes Resistance, medal of honor, etc. BORING!!!Easily the wii.

So high breaking rates and high energy use is a sign of quality hardware? Do you think the Nintendo 64 and the Game Cube are better than the Wii?
