2k9 won't install because the PC versions wern't shipped with any keys, far Cry 2 isn't out for me until Thursday, not getting Dead Space until December, and all have new is NHL 09 for the PC which was borderline horrible.
LBP and fable 2. Im waiting for the servers to go up on LBP before i beat the whole game. Fable 2 is fun though i like it a lot. Then come november it will be LBP and Resistance 2.
SOCOM: Confrontation is really awesome when the servers are running fine... I cant wait for them to get the bugs out.
My next big decision is whether or not to get Resistance 2 on launch day or Gears 2 on launch day... and then just wait to get the other game for Christmas. Ugh. lol.
I'm still enjoying TF2 on PC more than anything. As well as Crysis Warhead, The Witcher, CS:Source, and a few others.
New games? I just got Dead Space on PC yesterday. I'm enjoying that thoroughly. Incredible game. Glad they implemented the Mouse to aim unlike RE4 on PC where they failed to (though i still enjoy RE4 on PC and the controls were good).
Out of all the games I've played this year so far, I'd still say I enjoyed playing Shadow of the Colossus the most a couple weeks ago on my 11th time beating it. Oddly enough, most of the games that I got this year aside from Dead Rising and Mass Effect I've played once, put on the shelf and haven't gone back to at all.
That is one of the big issues with a lot of games and the gaming industry today... there are just far too many good games out there to play and you never get to spend the time you want with any of them. I did two full play-throughs of Mass Effect (one on Normal and the other on Hardcore) and wanted to do at least one more (on Insane as a renegade female instead of the paragon male) but had to put it aside because I had other games to play.
For instance, I want to pick up Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines again and do another playthrough with a different kind of vampire but I've got tons of other new games (new to me) sitting on my shelf and on my hard drive (I bought a ton of stuff on Steam and GOG and haven't got to it yet sadly) that will either prevent me from doing so or just get pushed aside. I've come to both love and hate this state of gaming. Gone are the days I can give the time a game deserves (like Shadow of the Colossus when I got it) and now I'm stuck becoming what I hate most... the gamer that jumps from one title to the next after I beat it once... even if I enjoy it greatly.
I got about half way through Dead Space and now I sent it back to GF. I really felt like I kept doing the same missions on each chapter. Right now they sent me Fable 2 and I'm enjoying it so far. Awaiting for them to send me World Tour So I can unlock some songs. By time I get my hands on the full set I'll have the full set list unlocked.
