Both.

Haven't played DOOM yet, but based on public response I'm inclined to say both.

Doom is worth a billion, so go with that

Doom more, but you're comparing two very good games. One's a GOAT, the others a great game.

You may find Doom easier to get onto having not played a From Soft game before.

Bloodborne is worth a whole lot more than $20...

Doom is a game you're going to have greater odds of liking, Bloodborne is more of an acquired taste.

Yeah, you have to spend $429.99 CAD to get the opportunity to play it.

You have a PS4 for games like Bloodborne. For games like DOOM and the rest, you have a PC.

Bloodborne is a 60, I haven't finished doom yet seems like a 40 since I don't like the multiplayer

Bloodborne + The Old Hunters DLC is amazing.

You shouldn't have to even think about the MP to enjoy Doom for $60. It's an outstanding shooter that uses just the right amount of old ideas and builds on them incredibly well.

Doom. Plus if he chooses Bloodborne then I hope he has friends who can explain it to him.

I'd say Doom. Not all people are going to enjoy a BB type of game.

I like Doom as the superior game on PC, but I can't contemplate playing it on PS4.

I think Bloodborne probably works better as a PS4 game recommendation, even if it's my least favourite From Software game. I suppose it'll serve as a good introduction, and eventually your friend may find their way to Demon's Souls and Dark Souls.

It really depends on your flavor of game you want. They both offer very very different experiences.

Doom , bloodborne just ain't my cup of tea and if you ask it's not as challenging as Doom me on Ultra Nightmare
