mgs4, gta4 is not 10 material, they took all the cool stuff out of it that was in gtasa yet the hype train give it a 10. the pc version is the best version and they gave it what it was really worth.
I'm going to go with MGS4>OOT>Chrono Cross>GTAIV>THPS Okay, I never played THPS3 but I played the first one and that's all I really needed from the series :P

How is it cowism(lolwut?) if someone prefers MGS4 over another game? Because of how people should view a 10/10 game. It should be a revolutionary game that propels it's genre ahead an entire generation and should be what every game in that genre aspires to be. It should introduce a whole new way to experience the genre or it should completely perfect that experience. LoZ:OoT did just that. It made the jump from 2d to 3d and still produced one of the greatest games of all time. My argument is that cows are simply voting MGS4 up because it's on their current gen system. As opposed to being truly the best 10/10 game. This list isn't even accurate as it excludes PC games that I feel are the best ever (Diablo 2 / Starcraft).
while i love zelda OOT, and GTAIV, and i wish i had finished chrono cross, MGS4 left me feeling much more awe inspired, playing that game just gives me feelings i dont get from the other games, and i like Majoras Mask more then OOT aswell...
I've only played Chrono Cross and Ocarina of Time out of that list, but I consider other games to be better than them. As for which one is better, idk. They're really the same to me. Enjoyable games, but nothing amazing.

Definitely Ocarina of Time. Even by today's standards, it kicks the living crap out of Metal Gear Solid 4 and everything else on that list. I haven't played Chrono Cross, though, so I can't comment on that.
