I'm planning to buy a console but which one should I get? PS3 or the Xbox 360? I had a 360 but I sold it two months ago.

seriously though both consoles are great, the best choice is both, the 360 can be obtained for £150 and the PS3 for £300.

but anyways back on topic. getta 360 or just upgrade your computer if you are into FPS. if youre getting ps3, i would suggest waiting a couple of months for the good games to drop. when i said good i mean great!

You know, I find it annoying how people with only one console enter these types of threads. A flamewar usually erupts and the TC usually exits the thread, shaking his head in disbelief at the rabid incompetence he has unleashed.

Well, personally speaking as someone who has been on SW for many years, I get sick of all the people who claim they are "gamers" but sell a console the second they are bored for another console that is popular at the moment. Inevitably, these people always end up making another thread in a couple months wondering if they should sell THAT console to get the other one back or buy console #3.

I find this kind of thing insulting because it shows that the person in question doesn't care about gaming at all. If they did they should know what console they want, which is right for them, and they won't abandon it in a month because they beat the ONE popular game they care about.

Yeah, they're like........console whores or something. I can't imagine ever doing something like that. If I buy a console I plan on using it for years and getting the most out of it, not tossing it aside like a dirty sock once the new "cool" console is released. You're right, it's a little insulting. Console whores are my new pet peeve!

This is what happens when you make a thread saying: "should I get a PS3 or a 360?" Unfortunately, you rarely get any helpful answers and a poo-flinging contest erupts between Cows and Lems.

Anyway, I'd suggest going for the PS3 seeing as you've already had a 360.
