For me, the PS3 offers a better package. I have no doubt the PS3 will continue to offer a gaming experience well beyond the typical 5 Year Console span.
I'm no Cow, and I also love what the 360 has to offer. But I became skeptical with MS after cutting off the Original Xbox way too early & the cause of RRODs haven't been officially addressed or fixed. I'll eventually buy a 360 this summer, but it will be my secondary console.
I own all three and they are rated as follows.
Wii - 8.8.
-Probably the best single players system out there but is also the best party system.
-The big titles are starting to trinkle in but I am curious as to what games will be comming out in the next year or so.
-The big draw to this system is that it tries new things ala Wii Sports and Wii Fit. This makes it a huge draw to non gamers.
-The Virtual Console is a very strong feature. Better library and potential than XBox Like Arcade.
360 - 8.6.
-The big draw to this system is XBox Live. XBox live is fun and almost every game uses it well.
-Achievments make games more fun and challenging.
-Good FPS games
-However it seems that FPS and sports games may be all the system has going for it.
PS3 - 7.0
-Cheap Blu Ray player.
-Not too many games are showing the PS3's power.
-Still waiting on the Big exclusives.
-Once Metal Gear Solid IV, Final Fantasy XIII, Tekken and Gran Turismo 5 come out I think we will see what this thing can do.
