To be honest, I don't see either of them as "cool".

ehhh I don't really care for either, they are both pointless and both have faults,

Trophies...Not all games have them, which is a huge downfall

Achievements...Some are rediculously easy and shouldn't be achievements, Getting to a point that their might be to many

The to easy applys to trophies to sometimes, but more to achievements

Achievements I would have to say are more smooth and streamline

I like how trophies look better but I'd have to give it to achievements

some achievements have really cool pics next to them. i think it would be awesome if MS allowed those pics to be used as gamer picture once you unlock the achievement, like they did with that gears 1 seriously achievement

I'm still trying to figure out what's so good about trophies, some awesome games don't have them(MGS4, Valkyria Chronicles, etc.) and don't see the point in making different types of trophies.
