ive noticed latly that people say RPG is what makes console sells but what about First Person Shoter?

that why i want you people to decide which genre is more important is it RPG or FIRST PERSON SHOTER :)

To me, rpg's are the greatest genre of all time. However, taking the community, more people have patience and time for first person shooters. Halo 3 is on of the greatest games I've touched, so I'm sure that game alone boosts the fps genre popularity

I was a huge RPG fan growing up, like age 11-20. I'm 23 now, and realize most RPGs are the result of failed fiction writers becoming game developers too lazy to come up with compelling gameplay elements.

I can't vote. Games with good stories are what I find truly important. Most the time you'd give that nod to RPGs.. MOST of the time.
