The answer is this.
Physics dont matter.
Fact is, racing simulators are boring.
Infact, yesterday I drove a car.
It was more fun than these racing simulators could ever be.
Games like burnout make real life driving boring.
Im sure thats what everyone wants.

well to be quite honest, they are...especially after you've actually driven a car on a race track in real life.

You don't need a ferrari, rent a sports car, hit up your local racetrack (most allow amateur and fans to race on the race track), get a real sense of speed, it'll change your perspective on these so called racing sims.

first off thats still your opinion
sec most people cant go track and race cars thats why sims are fun especially if you have a racing wheel.
third even if you could go your still not getting the variety of tracks and cars
4 less money
If you're only talking about DRIVING, it's GT5. But then you have to consider things like damage, which Forza does, all be it unrealistically. Damage and bumps would affect the handling and performance of the car, which Forza doesn't do, and which GT5 probably won't do with damage, so your answer is:

The problem with racing sims is that they fail to give you a sense of speed.
I want my controller to be shaking.
I want my console to be spitting fumes.
I want my TV screen to shatter if I crash into a wall.
Okay maybe thats too much.
But theres no question, Cars in racing sims seem a lot slower than their stated speed.

what damage does effect your car alot you can actually total it and no GT5 is not gonna handle damage right. in the end its mostly up to which system you own if you have both i would go with forza though its just better the physics good, customization is more than GT will ever have and online is great. Only area GT has forza beat is graphics and number of cars.

now i can agree with that sense of speed is important which why i would like the graphics to include motion blur that small thing gives great sense of speed and both GT5 and forza have very little of that.

Not realistically. Lemmings make fun of Prologue for "bumper car physics", when in Forza it's easier to bump your way passed oponents with little damage to your car.between GT5 Prologue and Forza 2 definitly Forza.
once GT5 is out, probably that.
killerfist
when is GT5 coming out is it ever coming out and when it does will ps4 be coming out. fact of the matter is if GT5 comes out and isnt hands down better than forza 2 it would be quite sad its been in dev forever.

I knowand once GT5 is out, Forza 3 will be around the corner (or allready released lol) and better again:P
I'll get both no matter what anyway.
