Get whichever you want, both have great games, though i would say that this year sony has the better exclusives, but then the oline is a little worse.

another factor is what your friends have, as youmay want to play them online or borrow games and such.

I have both and the question is still Games or Blu-Ray movies. I love Blu-Ray don't get me wrong but in the game area XBOX 360 still wipes the floor with PS3.

Just look at the exclusive games out for each system and that are coming out soon for each system then go with the system you will play the most game on. I know people say most multi-platform version of games on the 360 are better but the difference is usually so small that it doesn't make a difference.

I have both system and at the moment I play more 360 games than PS3 games but that just my taste in games. Off the top of my head i will be looking forward to playing exclusive games like Fable 2, Gear 2, Socom and Resistance.

I have both too and IMO both are great.

The 360 does not wipe the floor in the games department anymore. I have not actually ever watched a blu ray movie on thhe ps3 yet it still gets daily use.

By the end of this year for me the ps3 will definately have the better set of games, all my awaited games are coming out such as SOCOM moterstorm 2, Resistance 2, LBP, GT5 and so on...

so far on the ps3 i have enjoyed Moterstorm, resistance, Ratchet and Clank Tools Of Destruction, Warhawk, COD4, R6V2 and blivion. yes some are multiplat but they are still games. I am also getting MGS4 this saturday as I just finished mgs3 (yay!) and I also plan on getting uncharted. but there is also heavenly sword, GT5p and so on if you want those games...

So I cant say I have been starved for games this gen. I have had more than enough to play.

Does no one else find it amazing that a thread is made in which the TS doesn't mention what he's talking about, but just asks a question about which to buy and it strikes up a debate?

I would actually wait until E3 was over. When I purchased my Xbox 360 the decision was more easy then it is today. I am not just talking about the games that are out on the market now but what could possibly be. I think MGS4 has given the PS3 some momentum. Not to mention it sounds like new SKU and price cuts are coming for both systems. As silly as this might be, I am beginning to notice that HD video is becoming more popular. In my room I have a 32" HDTV with my Wii and 360. Downstairs there is a 46" HDTV which I just recently received a bunch of HD channels through my cable provider. I don't have a Playstation 3 but considering the games that could come out later this year for the system I might by one. What I do enjoy on my Xbox 360 are multiplatform games(like Skate). I personally would have purchased one if I was in the same situation last year. That's not to say I am not happy with my Xbox 360, because I am!

I think there is much fun to be had on the Xbox 360. But now I am realizing there are games that a lot fans have been waiting for that are coming close to becoming a reality on the PS3. I definitely would wait after E3 because this one coming up is going to be important. I think the hardcore gamer is looking harder at this year's event then some of the past few. The Electronic Expo was disappointing last year, and even though we did get some great games I still believe a lot of people became underwhelm. Not to mention where were all the hardcore games that Nintendo promised, especially when development cost for the Wii is cheaper.

not really. I have more PS3 games than 360 games. It's a matter of taste !

Well personally I prefer boxers to briefs. Much more comfy. I'd go with boxers if I were you.
