pc by far.
dragon age - free dlc plus mods
batman - better visuals or performance (or both depending on the machine) plus use any form of input
borderlands - any form of input (we all know m&kb is better but if you prefer controllers the choice is there) free online/better online
this is vegas - dont know this game saw a video lets just say no comment
asassins creed - better visuals and/or performance use any control
plus im pretty sure most will be on steam meaning the added benifiet of using no disks
So before the end of this holiday season there are a few games that spark my interest. However, I own both a PS3 and a 360. [also have PC of course :) ] Which platform would fit better for each of the following upcoming games:Dragon Age: Origins - PC
Borderlands - PC
Batman: Arkham Asylum - PS3
This is Vegas - PC
Assassin's Creed - PC Appreciate any opinions!osusmitty05
I'm just going to assume this topic was created with the best of intentions. It's less depressing that way.
But yeah, Batman is the only game there that will probably be better on either platform (in Batman's case, PS3).
EDIT: Didn't notice you had a PC. You should probably play all those on PC if you can.
PC for all of them. People are saying Batman for PS3. But they don't get Physx, or mods (Which I'm sure they'll surpass the Joker's content)tagyhag
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's going to be physx vs joker content. I don't see this game getting any mods.
PC for any multiplat that's on PC, for so many reasons. Only exception here is the Sony/Eidos scam, so Arkham Asylum would be best played on PS3, even though IMO PhysX >>>>>>>>> a bit of extra content.
Hanass
Nah more content is better. Even though physx does engross you in the game even more.

But exactly how many more hours of play time are you getting? I'm guessing it won't add more than 2 or 3 hours, just like any other DLC. Plus, there's always the modding community...

Yea I mentioned them in my post, they will make good stuff but the pro stuff will most likely be better in the short run, I agree though we could expect some great mods in the long run, just not right now. Meh but 2-3 hours for free dlc is great!

I also thought that at first, but then I realized how many people at Mod DB are no-lifers. :P[QUOTE="Filthybastrd"][QUOTE="tagyhag"]PC for all of them. People are saying Batman for PS3. But they don't get Physx, or mods (Which I'm sure they'll surpass the Joker's content)tagyhag

That's true, but let's be realistic here, who's going to? The only PS3 game that I know that has good mods is UT3, and even though they're incredibly well done (Maps & characters) There's still not many.I also thought that at first, but then I realized how many people at Mod DB are no-lifers. :P[QUOTE="tagyhag"][QUOTE="Filthybastrd"]

Dragon Age: Origins, This is Vegas, and Assassin's Creed will all be better on PC most likely. Batman: AA's Joker gameplay makes the PS3 the obvious choice for this game and Borderlands depends mostly on what your friends get it for. PC will probably be the better choice as far as the game itself goes but if you have more friends playing it on 360 or PS3 you would be better off getting it on that console for the 4 player co-op.
