Which platform will you think is better next generation?

Congrats fanboys, now that this generation is over, you have achieved a new high level of stupidity. The console fanboy war between the Sony Playstation 3 Computer Entertainment System and the Microsoft Xbox 360 has now officially won the dumbest debate between nonliving objects of the generation and the dumbest war in human history award presented by the Gamer/Manticore awards committee.

Well Kanye, you don't have to be a d*** about it. I mean, you have to agree with me about it. Whatever, even though the PS3 vs. 360 fanboy war is over, the Sony vs. Microsoft vs. Nintendo vs. PC gaming still rages on and its stupidity is predicted to be even dumber and childish over which piece of nonliving plastic is better. Since the fanboy mind is so small and contains less than the human 1 million GB space like the human mind, what are your thoughts on which platform will be better next generation? PS4, 720, Wii-U, or PC?

Well remember ShadowDeathX, the PC won awards as well, but not platform of the generation award because its not respect of the gamer to single out a platform. The PC won the Smarta$$ award for thinking they are the master race and the Graphics Hog award for bragging about graphics. They have won that in previous gens before that and might win this generation. Don't worry, lemmings got the Doomzday award for calling a company out, sheep have the Handheldz r teh best evar award for handheld bragging, and cows won the S*** Sales award for not purchasing their exclusive games.

The one that will let me still play used games and play online for free. That one, which one is that? No idea, but whatever system it is that's the one I'm going with.

I'll go with PC, Wii U and PS4.

For me, the next MS or Sony system. I'm sure I'll be into all systems again though due to a small number of exclusives.

PC just like every other gen.

We'll still have to endure the consolite moaning while they spam their DF/LoT threads, ofc.

PC is the safest bet obviously.

Out of the upcoming consoles, who knows? I've always enjoyed Nintendos offerings, so I'm sure the Wii U will be no different, but its way too early to even guess at what will be the best out of the 3 (or possibly 2).

I say PS4 will dominate next generation for a few reasons: (1) The Cell 2 (2) reliable hardware (3) exclusives (4) Sony brand new (5) Sixaxis 2 (6) free online.

Wii U will come in second, only because it appeals to the ages 4+ market, but it will not win because people will recognize it for the fad that it is.

Xbox 720 will flop hard, and here is why: RROD 2. The RROD killed the Microsoft name brand, and it will kill any console they make next generation. Not to mention Live is expensive as hell now.

As a PC gamer you must always have sufficient hardware to max out even the most demanding game two times over. If you don't constantly feed hundred dollar bills to the GPU god your PC will implode.

In many ways the cell is ahead of its time and for a while was a very cost effective way of crunching some major tasks. Its just not that crazy of a tech for gaming and even if it was, other bottlenecks would always get in the way.

Sonys 1st party has shown what the cell can do and tbh its pretty amazing what they've managed to pull off, but we are way past seeing any significant jumps from the PS3.

Xbox has been the best console platform both last and this gen. I don't see that changing.

If history is repeated, the best console will come with a fat Sony symbol on it.senses_fail_06

Ha, come to think it, PS has been my fav for 3 gens running now. It just barely edged out the N64 for me, but PS3 and especially PS2 ended up delivering the best experience as well.

lol, buddy my rig is a workstation. I create film quality content on this thing, and at times run some fairly hefty simulations, so no sir. Now in terms of price for computing yes. It wouldn't be able to do the things I need to do, but if you took how much my machine costs, invested it PS3s and set up a farm it would eat my machine alive at certain tasks.

Of consoles, ps4. Because (assuming based on this gen) online gaming is free, less overpriced accessories, no scam MS points system, and first party developers do variety of games not only focus on move/kinect.

Going by the online rumors of more control over online content/etc, I'm going to say the PC and WiiU.
