Do not take out Race Pro and replace it with MS2. Race Pro is by SimBin, makers of the GTR games for PC. It would be like replacing a McLaren SLR with a dune buggy.

Agreed, if I can't work out how to!? It's funny NFS always sell millions of copies dispite the games not being great and nobody have it as a favourite game :-)

Crash Team Racing is the best kart game ever made. I bought Mario Kart after realizing that CTR was inspired by it, but Mario just can't keep up with Crash (that and the kart physics in Mario Kart are garbage).
Does anyone know how Jak X racing stands up to CTR?
Though the first one was lacking in game modes and split screen, the core driving was insanely fun. They are fixing the issues of the first one so I can't wait. Plus custom soundtracks :) (even though the original soundtrack was great).

Ok to be fair I can't honestly say. I pretty much skipped last gen for consoles (even though I owned a PS2 and Gamecube). So when I think of NFS, I think of games like NFS 3 and Hot pursuit. Not sure how much they have changed over the years. But being chased by the cops was always a blast. Are the cops still chasing you? If the cops are gone, then so is my interest. I am also very hyped for Motorstorm 2. I own and love the first one. Sure it was rushed and seriously lacking in options, but the core gameplay rocked.

Otherwise, I'm kind of indifferent about Forza 3 and GT5. Both are so far out they're not worth thinking about yet.

NFS jumped the shark and nuked the fridge when EA execs saw 2 Fast 2 Furious and attempted to get a slice of that pie. Yeah... the NFS Underground games outsold pretty much all of the other NFS games something like 2:1 vs. any individual game. Most Wanted came the closest but still fell way short of NFSU2, after that sales tanked.
