I'm thinking of getting a XBOX 360 instead of a PS3. I want to get a PS3 Cause of its online play and selection but its too expensive. i want to get a XBOX cause its cheaper and it nearly shares most of its games with the PS3 but do you have to pay to play online on it?

Its $50 or £30 a year to play online but thats gives you online access to all games and a whole load of other stuff. Plus, you're XBOX would have come with a headset, PS3s dont have a headset and that remark about paying monthly is complete bull-twaddle.

Xbox is far better then the 360, its online is far greater hence your payment. lol, i remember when i bought MGS4, half an hour of that game is instalments, whereas on the 360, you would just change the disk in a sec. i went to play MGS:O i had to download some instalment which took 1:30-2 hours, and that wasnt even the worst part. you need 4 profiles to play online, one regular profile, then an online id, then a konami id(funny that) then another profile for your character, altogether, that is over 4 hours to play a single online match, then when i finally do play a match, the connection is so horrible, that literally every 10 secs i saw players just turning around in a circle for 20 secs/

ok whatever,i think TC should decide by himself,also i dont know about this "how much do you pay"for live thing. But it sounds like TC wants a 360 more than a PS3

Also, forgot about the exclusives. Just research both systems, find out what exclusives you prefer, and also see if the extra 200 or 100 dollars is enough to warrant a PS3 purchase over a 360.
