I dont want to game on a pc just not my style also can some one tell me the pro's and con's of both cause since i have to get a job during the summer which i don't wanna do. And can only start of with one game i need to know which route to go.Blue-Snake-123At first I felt the same way, but over time I was like what the heck am I doing! Pc gaming is pretty much better in every way, u'll only regret it in the end.
Ok so my parents said there going to get me a next gen system the ps3 or 360 but they said there only getting me the system and 1 game. And i have to get a job and buy everything else that i want and need for it. This sucks but i guess i will get a summer job after school ends to buy stuff. So i wanna know hat everyone thinks i should get pros and cons of both and which game should i get to to start off with to i get my summer job . Thanks all replies are appreciated.Blue-Snake-123
get the one that has the games you want to play
Yeah it totally must suck getting a console for free. If it happens to be for your birthday or some such I retract my sarcasm.
If you're looking at it from an evil manipulative bastard perspective you'll ask for a PS3, then not open it, return it and swap it for whatever. Your parents are sure to respect you for this manuever and may give you more gifts, such as a boot to the head.
But in all seriousness, I'm too tired to come up with coherent, helpful advice so I'm just rambling on and on in this sentence using a bunch of useless words one after another. Hope this helped.

Putting this whole system wars thing aside...
The logical choice is to get them to buy you the more expensive PS3. Since you're going to get a job anyway, you'll be able to save up for a X360 arcade easily.
Thats a good idea i might go that way and then buy me a xbox 360 later after i save up from my job then i will have both. Nice suggestion.Uhhh

It sux that you get a console for free? You should be glad you parents want give you one :D
I had take Ps3, it have best games coming this year
Depends what you like. We need more info.Nonstop-Madness^^This.^^ What are your favorite genres, Blue-Snake?
It depends on which usage you plan to give them. This is how I would sum it up:
PS3 is best if you:
- Love PS exclusives
- Want to watch Blu-Ray movies
- Want to have a console that will last for longer & that has new games for a longer time
- Want to use it heavily for basic online gameplay, especially via a Wi-Fi connection
- Don't mind to pay extra at first to get a great product on the long term
- Don't mind your multiplats to have really limited DLC
- Prefer your game discs to be more durable (Blu-Rays are more durable that DVDs), as well as with tons of included content
X360 is best if you:
- Love Xbox exclusives
- Love games available for PC & 360
- Love online gaming in general (game renting, online gameplay, DLC games, cross-game chat...) & don't mind to pay extra for the service
- Want DLC for multiplats
- Don't have trouble with wired connections or if you can afford a Wi-Fi adapter for the console
- Don't mind having a less reliable system (although the recently produced ones have acceptable failure rates)
- Love your multiplats to have tons of DLC
If you ask me, I went with the PS3. I do love PS3 exclusives, free basic online gameplay, that my console will have stuff for it for a longer time & the Blu-Ray advantages.
