Gamerankings.com to get the overall general value of the game.

For a single pinpointed overall cretique of a game I'd tust IGN. They give the most unbias and detailed game reviews of all the major game reviewing site on the net right now. I don't see them play favorites with consoles when deciding what a game is worth.

Use to be Gamespot till they dumbed the rating system down because of LoZ TP.

After that there were no gaming publications I really trusted alot.

IGN and Gameinformer I agree with somtimes, but half the time their scores can leave me scrating my head. Blue Dragon AAA game informer? Really? Kingdom Hearts II, just a 7 IGN? Budakai Tenkaichi 3 is an 8? lol!!! They really arent any better than Gamespot is right now.

I just buy games based on weather I think their interesting and I'll only skip out if I see that pretty much every game publication is in aggreance that a game is total crap.

I look at all the reviews.Really though i trust my own opinion over all the rest.If i like a game then thats all that matters.Dont get me wrong if a game gets bad reviews on all the sites then i usually dont spend that much time with that game,i might rent that game to see for myself.I really dont fault any site for its reviews because everyone has there opinions.

I usually look at GameRankings, but for an individual site, I'd say IGN. Their reviews are sometimes a little less professional than GameSpot's, which is why I read both, but IGN's are clearer, easier to read, and above all unbiased. GameSpot sometimes seems to want to 'make a point' by giving overhyped games excessively low ratings.

I trust Gamespot the most. They don't throw out 9's and 9.5's around like IGN and other sites do. Gamespot is trict but fair.

GameRankings for scores, Eurogamer for reviews. I give IGN a chance every now and then as well.

I've never really liked or trusted IGN much with reviews. X-Play reviews are entertaining but I rarely take them into consideration. I mostly agree with Gamespot reviews but some of them are a little off (No, Brawl is not worth a 9.5, neither is Revenant Wings worth an 8.5, Mass Effect doesn't really glitch or framerate drop for me....at all) the reviews that I really trust are Gametrailers and Giantbomb. Gametrailers because it gives you a lot of information and I really don't think its biased at all, plus they point out games for what they are. They gave Brawl a high score, but GT's a little bit more drastic with their scores. Gigantbomb reviews I trust solely because every game they've reviewed that I own, I whole heartedly agree with. Yeah, they didn't give Brawl a perfect score. GOOD because it doesn't derserve anything higher than a 4/5 or an 8.5/10. Ikaruga is also a great game but its freakin' hard. They've pointed that out. The games I most like are RPGs and Gamespot's one of the few sites that actually reviews them properly and unbiased, so I listen to them if Giant Bomb hasn't reviewed the game or if its an RPG.

IGN. I used to read GS also but since Ratchet i lost any "trust" i had ... So now its only IGN and Gamerankings/Metacritic for an overall score/review.

I can't really trust anyone. GS can be a bit too harsh on games, IGN is way too easy on games, and the others i haven't really checked out yet.

Yep, thats pretty much it with me. However, the only time a review helps me buy a game is when I'm deciding what platform to get it on. Normally I know I want a game and no review will change that.
