Depends. If the Jedi Knight game is more like JK:A....I'll take Force UNleashed in a heartbeat. But, even over those two, I want a new Tie Fighter.Verge_6
Agreed. I want another in the vein of Jedi Knight 1 or Outcast...
And, more than anything else, I just want another good space combat sim, be it X-Wing versus TIE, TIE Fighter, X-Wing, Wing Commander 6, Freelancer 2, Privateer 3, or Freespace 3...
Jedi Knight. Jedi Academy kicked major arse. The story was wonky, but that game is still fun to play. I'm always amazed at how hard some of the saber fights can be and how intense they can get. I love it. There weren't any achievements, but I played that game over and over with my own rules each time (best way being max difficulty and no lightning or grip... pure saber to face for like 18 levels). The controls are near perfect. I can't imagine how they could get any better without me growing a 3rd hand. The gameplay is really fun. All it needs is next gen graphics. I'm hoping force unleashed plays exactly like Jedia Academy.
If its like those other star wars action games (any one where you mainly play as a jedi and its not KOTOR), i'll be sitting this one out. THose games are crap. I don't know why they just didn't blatantly copy Jedi Knight. At least they would have turned out decent.
Star Wars Wii. Complete with 3D Graphics in First Person with 1:1 Controls.Gunraidan
I don't think that would ever happen. With 1:a, your entire right hand is only used for attacking. How do you move AND look? You'd have to have that all mapped to one hand... one hand that only has an analog stick and a trigger button. You can either only look in the same direction that you travel or there would have to be some sort of auto look/move. Which would almost make it like a hybrid arcade shooting game.
I want to see another Republic Commando game.
Which is not what was asked...but force unleashed looks pretty good so far.
Jedi Knight all the way. The combat in TFU just looks like a bunch of force powers and physics. The Jedi Knight series had the best lightsaber combat ever, even though the story kinda sucked.BillGreen68
Agreed. The lightsaber combat in the Jedi Knight series is the most satisfying in any Star Wars game. That combined with the balance of the force powers (and their powerups) made those games the greatest Star Wars games to ever be introduced. Outcast was the best in my opinion...
Neither.
I want another Rogue Squadron type space shooter. An all out, in your face, simple, straight forward Star Wars space shooter. With an emphasis on Space Shooting, no land mission or any other type of BS tedious asinine crap.
Is that hard to ask, F5 or Lucastarts?
