360 for the DLC.
Anyone with both consoles or only the 360 will get it for the 360. People with only the ps3 will get the ps3 version. Thats all there is to it.
ps3. i dont like the 360 controller for gta. and extra missions are kinda lame since i dont care for the story to much of gta games, i just like shooting people lol. beside the ps3 will get some extra content, just not exclusive contentriver_rat3117
You've played GTA on a 360 controller?!

I'm getting it for PS3 as well, but I thought Microsoft paid $ for exclusive content?

GTA3, GTA:VC, and GTA:SA are all backwards compatible on the 360. I've played those 3 GTAs with the 360 controller.

What's so bad about it?
360 of course. Who wouldn't if they had the choice?MCGSMB
well i was considering it for ps3, thinking it might run smoother since it where it was originally developed, but since i know that multiplats look better on 360, ill go with 360. plus i dont care about the downloadable content, i wont pay for that.
and before anyone feeds me the story about them being 'identical', i hardly believe theyll look completely identical in graphics, one system will always run it better than the other.

its not bad i just would rather have the ps3 controller for it, i like it more for 3rd person games.I'm still undecided. I'll wait for the reviews to let me know which has the better framerates and such.shaggygrosserSince they've only showed the 360 version yet, and have admitted the delay was due to the ps3 version, Its a safe bet that the 360 version will either be equal or better than the ps3 version graphically.

Call of Duty 4 looked and played in identical ways. So did Bioshock.
Just seeing if you were paying attention on that last part.

Sorry, but I own both consoles, and I decided I'd get it for the PS3. :)
Why? I understand if you don't like achievements (some people feel this way), but what about the exclusive content. To each their own, but I would think given the choice most people would chose the 360 version.
360, achievements, probably the smoother running of the two, that's all I need to decide.lantus
Ps3 mainly because blu-ray is scrath proof (i had a small scratch on gta san and i was falling through roads and walking through walls and ended up having to buy it twice) also i dont want to buy the content of xbox live god knows how much microsoft will charge for it

PS3 controller feels better to me while playing GTA.
What's the deal with this DLC? Do we even know what it entails? How long has it been in the planning/development stage? I am going to have all of Liberty City in my hands on either system, I don't feel like paying up on extra stuff.
I'm basically going to have a massive Thanksgiving feast in front of me with the main game, how much am I really going to want that extra serving of cranberry sauce?

That's understandable. I really don't think there is a "right" answer, but I love GTA and will most certainly buy the dlc. It would also seem that the dlc (yes I am sure it will cost at least$10 if not up to $30) would be a nice option. Anyone who thinks that MS paid 50 million for content that will also be available on the PS3 is foolish. Also, I don't like the PS3 controller as much as the older PS controllers. My hands start getting cramped on long plays. But like I said, no "right" answer. There is a wrong answer though- Not buying this game at all. ;)

Xbox360 for me. I own both consoles. I sort of understand tradition tying people to the PS3, as GTA3 was my first PS2 experience back in early 2002. However, I can't see how a big GTA fan wouldn't go for the extras on the 360 version. As far as the 360 exclusive content, why on earth are there some people on here who think that the PS3 will ever get that stuff? It's simple business; M$ paid big bucks for that content. PS3 will never get it. M$ paid for a competitive advantage. Clearly the 360 version will be the one to have when they both launch.
