SNES or GC. Think it partly depends on your life at the time when you were playing it. The memories of other things it brings back.

Edit: Good post under me, I'll put some games.

Snes- LttP, SMRPG, DK 1-3, Earthbound, NHL 94(you know it), SMW, Mario Paint, Blackthorne

Cube- Eternal Darkness (forever), Metroid Prime, PN.0.3, WW, Mario Sunshine, Pikmin, Beyond Good and Evil

Believe it or not, the GBA. Ive always loved portable games, and the GBA offered a ton of some of my favorite games out there.

N64. From Crazy MP fun in MK and 007 to breath taking scenery in OOT and MM. PS1 is a close second.

Good topic :) I think N64 because it was what brought me back to gaming. But it's not the system that brought me the memories, but the games. OOT was the best game I've ever played...

Definately the N64. So many great games on that system! I never previously owned a SNES, I only got one fairly recently, so it doesn't make my list.

Yep, the N64 and me share a lot of good memories.

We just took our time, I guess. We came up with some pretty creative ways to splatter the little human stamp. Or Mario. The best part was making the gore Kill Bill-esque. You'd be amazed how much plasma and red cells come out of one tiny body

Super NES easily. God, so many great games: Secret of Mana, F-Zero, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy VI, Super Metroid, Super Mario Kart, Super Mario World, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Chrono Trigger, Street Fighter II, Mario Paint, ActRaiser, Turtles in Time, Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong Country, Mega Man X, X2, and X3, Contra III, SimCity, Breath of Fire II, Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts, Aladdin, Samurai Shodown, Lufia II...those were my favorite games, at least. Next comes the 64. I have a LOT of fond memories from the PS1, but EVERYTHING I bought for it was a Squaresoft game. Chrono Cross, FF7, 8, 9, FFChronicles, FFAnthology, FFOrigins, Bushido Blade, FFTactics...plenty of good memories. But they pale in comparison to Super Mario 64, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Mario Kart 64, F-Zero X, Goldeneye 007, 1080 Snowboarding, Fighter's Destiny, Star Fox 64, Super Smash Bros., Turok, KI: Gold, Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, Mario Tennis, Gauntlet Legends, FIFA 98...lots of good games. GameCube deserves an honorable mention for my favorite single player game of all time (Metroid Prime) and my favorite multiplayer game of all time (Smash Bros. Melee).

I would have to say SNES and PS2. I remember when me and my friend that would spend the night would play Mega Man X and Donkey Kong Country 2 and beat it over and over again,  The PS2 brings back High School memories, If you had a PS2 when in high school, you where really considered cool!! Ahh the memories
