I really suck at video games and am looking for the most user friendly system. Which system is the easiest to be good at and why?

Xbox One by far. Switch is so cumbersome to figure out and PS4 has a touch screen in the controller and a roach infestation problem.
Xbox One is just good old classic gaming fun. The One S is the better model though but you might want to wait for the Scorpio

Lol.
I'd go with 3ds or Switch or both. Nintendo is very noob friendly. Honestly though the ps4 is pretty simple too if u pick the right games.
If you have a friend with a console, get what they have, find a good game with online co-op so you can learn, your friend can help you play, it's less competitive and more of a cooperative effort. Ask them for a good co-op game to learn on. If they own an Xbox One, ask about whether they have Halo and which ones, they're great game to learn how to handle modern dual analog controls for first person shooter games, or Gears of War is a great game to learn to nail the best of modern cover mechanics, and both game series offer both online and local co-op modes. And if you suck, don't worry, it isn't competitive, just do your best. Those you're playing with are there to help you, or should be anyways.

First time I've LOL'd in a while.
But in all seriousness, I think he might enjoy the Switch the most.
you beat chrono cross? then you can handle any new console.
games today are easy as pie compared to that.
Tell me about it, just beat FFXV the other day, and I don't even know what the game over screen looks like, because it never happened once. And I'm really not that good.

Funny!
Probably go with a Leap Pad from Leap frog. If not xbox one is pretty simple and they just updated using two controller for one player. You can focus on shooting while a friend does all the work moving around, just focus on pressing the right trigger down.
If you can navigate a computer's settings, the internet, and a smartphone, you can navigate a console's ui lol. You sound like my parents, who can do none of those things

PC by far and thats because it has the most casual friendly games to choose from.
Theres no friendly system , there are friendly games. Systems with one way or another are the same.
LOL at people recommending the Switch and PC. If you want simple handhelds like the 3ds or a Ipad. It doesn't get easier than those two. For home consoles well you have to go as far back as PS2 era for ease of use.
A casual gamer all he wants in fact are casual games , not casual systems. PC is one of them that is super appealing to a casual gamer with myriad of casual games .. and many of them are FREE
The era of 80s/90s that personal computers considered super complicated are in the past. Everything nowdays including phones and tablets including TVs and consoles ... are becoming more PC like than ever
Switch has the easiest UI of the consoles. But they all have quirks. 3DS is actually a pretty good recommendation for someone new to the entirety of gaming. Simple control scheme. Only controlling characters, not camera's at the same time. A lot of turn based games. No install process. Doesn't get much simpler than a 3DS these days.

Agreed. If OP doesn't do much online gaming, and I imagine not, go w/ Nintendo -- plug in and play.
Mobile games will probably put you off gaming, or get you addicted enough to samey, uninspired - tap - tap - tap - over and over again games that you'll probably start paying to speed up or win them faster so that you can move onto the next game thats pretty much the same. Id say start with a Nintendo console as most of their popular games are designed for all ages.
If you already have experience with and own a console or PC and are just sucking at multiplayer then try sticking to one game for a while see if you get good at it, if not just stop trying to win and have fun, you will get better in time.
Switch, I guess. Just pop in the game and start playing. No bullshit menus or settings to go through. You're probably way smarter than godlygamer, so you'd probably have no problems figuring it out.
Oh look someone trying to pit me and TC against each other. How conniving and unwarranted of you. In my view, you are clearly jealous of the work I have been doing around here intellectually making people quiver in their failed logic and assaults on the Xbox brand. Trust me I wish I did not have to do what I have to do and that Nintendo and Sony would just give up and make games for Xbox.

How the hell is the Switch cumbersome to figure out?
You start up the system and plug in the game and BAM you're ready. Downloading updates isn't even really an issue either since they happen so fast. It's not at all like the PS4 or Xbox One where despite having a Disc you have to wait for it to install or requiring you to have the internet to even play a single player game.
Oh that's easy, PC. You can't go wrong with that for Noob beginners XD
not sure if keyboard and mouse can be called noob friendly
You're joking right? mouse and k/b is easy enough for monkeys to use.. don't believe me. Look it up.
If you talking about console, than I'll say PS4 because it has the most games so you should be able to find some easy games for noob.

Well there is the controller that you have to hook to the sides which is cumbersome.
if you honestly suck at video games. PC is the best choice. You can either use a trainer for a game to cheat your way through it, or use something like cheat engine to manually find cheats yourself in single player games. Or you can also download mods for a lot of games which can make them harder or easier whatever you want.

Let's not forget all of the other PC games where the Keyboard is completely optional.

I wouldn't say gaming on a PC is terribly difficult. Many, if not most, people use a computer daily and so muscle memory with keyboards is a lot better than it would be than getting a controller with more foreign buttons. Sure, a keyboard has more buttons, but again using it daily makes it easier to adjust to a game's keybindings. It's also easier to aim if you're playing a shooter with a mouse. That's just me though.
