Which system should I buy? 360, Wii, or PS3

well there IS an MGS game coming to 360...as to whether or not that's enough to satisfy you MGS craving, that's up to you

GOW is a great series as well and they are also releasing 1 & 2 in HD for the PS3 next month

you can never go wrong with halo and gears IMO

blu-ray is great and it would be nice to have a blu-ray player in the house

360 controller does feel best IMO

and the wii will always give you that great nintendo feel (with 1st party games at least)

Well with all the great gamesthat have comeout for the PS3 U2, KZ2, DS, R&C CIT, and MGS4 and they will have GOW3, GT5, HR, TLG and many more next year why wouldn't you not want to buy a PS3. Also, since you like blu-ray movies that should make it easier. I guess if you want to play online and don't mind paying for it maybe the 360 would be your choice. Just don't get a Wii as it is so last gen and not worth the money trust me as I can barely find anything to buy for it.

Yeah, I'm kind of against the Wii cause other than Mario, Zelda, Punch Out, and Metroid it pretty much sucks. I like sports games too much to get one. So I guess it comes down to 360 or PS3. I'm just worried about the RROD on 360, although obviously from my experience the PS3 can break too. Are the newer 360's or refurbished ones usually better? JDW_games

newer ones are better...jasper chips RROD a lot less than older models...plus you get a free THREE year warranty for RROD problems...which is probably how much time this gen has left

yea, i love my wii, i wouldn't say it sucks otherwise...tons of great 3rd party games that are over looked

sports games wise, yes the wii sucks...madden and live are just bleh on the wii...BUT tiger woods, tennis games, bowling, sports games like that are better on the wii, especially with WM+...so you gotta give a thought to which sports games are your favorite too

I'm not a huge fan of 3D mario but at least NSMB should be bring back good times. I mean there are not much else beside Mario, Zelda and Metroid on there that sell well besides the party games. I mean games like NMH, MW and HODOK suck.

basically...the wii is a GREAT secondary console to complement your 360/PS3

IMO i'd get a 360 or PS3 first...so research those mainly

then next year if you wanna try something new and play some great nintendo games, pick a wii up

Playstation triple. I've had all of them at one point and the PS is just what suits my tastes the most.

Well I like football and baseball games the best. Wii Bowling is great and so is Punchout, but not happy with the other Sports games Ive played on Wii. First person shooters like Call of Duty, Half Life, Left 4 Dead, Halo, Gears, and Resistence are my favorites. My buddies have 360s and PS3s so I usually play theirs. JDW_games

yea...you'd probably be best with choosing between a 360/PS3 then

then maybe get a wii next year like i suggested....by then there will be a new zelda game, metroid other M, SMG2, and maybe other great 1st party games out...so maybe waiting a year to pick up a wii would be best

There is no arguement that PS3 is the best bang for your dollar, but if you need to play online go with what your friends are doing. Or be a trend setter, happy buying.

You are right they are my opinions as I just felt that NMH was a little too much waggle and boss fights and not enough interesting gameplay for me while madworld was just over the top killing and not really into the tournament feel it had. Hey I still might buy LKS and I did buy DSE and enjoy it but it is really hit and miss for me on the WII as opposed the PS3 where there seems to be a lot of games that tailor to my taste. I actually originally bought a lot of PS2 games for it thinking that there wouldn't be enough good PS games but boy was I wrong as I can't keep up with the games on the PS3.

From what you say the PS3 is right for you. You liked the previous GoW and MGS games so you can finish those series, and PS3 has an amazing exclusive Baseball series. You're rather split on the rest of the exclusives, so those points equal each other out, you'll miss the 360 exlusives but if you got a 360 you'd miss the PS3 ones. Most importantly though, you want a Blu-Ray player, so that pretty much makes the PS3 a no brainer for you.

Depends what you like. For me, the 360 and ps3 have a greater library of games that are interesting. The wii not so much.

360 has been terrible lately with its exclusives and failure rates, you cannot, I repeat, cannot, go wrong with the Ps3, they've got so many good games out now and great games to come out in the future, plus Blu-Ray, free online content, Wifi, rechargable controller.

And oh I forgot to mention, Metal Gear Solid 4, and Uncharted 2.

Hey,go out on a limb.You say you already owned a PS3 right?So did i,i loved it as well.Mine also went out on me(original with 80gig's)made me soooo mad.Anyway's,i decided to try somthing new since i heard the 360 RROD was mostly taken care of with the Jasper chip's.Now i own the 360.It's awesome...the online,the controller,the dashboard navagation,it's all smooth.Left4 dead is a blast too!Stay clear of the Wii.& is you want a bargain,or if your strapped for cash.Buy an Arcade,then a used hardrive.That saved me a lil bit of money.
