Which upcoming remaster you're looking forward the most?

Is it Dark Souls II, Devil May Cry, Borderlands 2 + Pre-Sequel or State of Decay?

I'm asking not solely for measurement of interest on SW, but I'm also wondering what would be the best one to get as a freebie to review...I had bought Dark Souls, played it for maybe an hour in total but I had to sell my 360 so I never really finished it. Then again I have Lords of the Fallen now, and I'm going to get Diablo 3 on Monday. Thus my RPG fix will be verily quenched. Same story with DmC - bought it for cheap, I like Ninja Theory but I didn't have the time to finish it before selling my 360...With Borderlands 2 - i had it on the very top of my backlog, but never even got around to buy it, I loved the first one...And State of Decay is just there so that you'd have more options, because it's not in the realm of consideration for me ass I'm going to get it regardless, I have played the original for a good while but didn't finish it.

What would be the best investment for me out of DS2, DMC and BL2?

Dark Souls 2, because I haven't actually played it.

I've got Tomb Raider DE, The Last of Us and RE Remake HD on my PS4. All of which were rebuys for me. I'm good on remasters until they do it to the Uncharted trilogy with Golden Abyss.

Homeworld Remaster for several reasons:

1. It's actually a proper remaster and not a lazy shit port job cash-grab with slightly better graphics slapped on it.
2. The original is pretty much impossible to get since it's not on any DDS.
3. It actually includes both first and second game, with original classic versions as well.
4. It's being developed by guys who actually made the game 10+ years ago.
5. It's a masterpiece RTS that still is unique.
6. It's not a remaster of a 1-2 years old game, and actually needs a remaster.
7. And by golly, it looks amazing with remastering.
8. They are trying so existing mods can work with the newer build.

I hate Gearbox. They milk the shit out of mediocre IP called Borderlands while they killed Brothers in Arms, i.e. their best series. They came up with Duke Nukem Forever and Alien Colonial Marines.

I also hate HD remasters. They are lazy, and the popularity of them makes us forget that backward compatibility used to be something that was so common.

But Homeworld Remastered is beyond such petty grievances. Sure, it may turn out like shit and riddled with performance issues (which I doubt cuz it's actually being developed by someone else), but so far, what I've seen, it looks like they have done a magnificent job bringing this into modern era. And it really needed that.

None, I don't do remasters usually, but I'll get GTA 5 when I get a PS4.

Now if some messiah would put Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2 (the non sigma version of both games), Metal Gear Solid 1-3, and Silent Hill 1-3 on Steam I'd be happy.

Resident Evil 2 HD/Remaster, after hearing that the latest HD/Remaster was Capcom's best selling digital title then I think we're probably in for another.

But a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster would be even better.

Of stuff actually coming out, I dunno, nothing in near future interests me. Though we did just get Majora's Mask (which I still need to play), and I really enjoyed Metro Redux and Tomb Raider Definitive Edition (not that as a remake it was good, just a good game overall).

State of Decay. Can't wait for it on the Xbox One. Wasn't a fan of Dark Souls at all. Very excited for Bloodborne though as that's the sequel to Demon's Souls (the true Souls game). The other 2 I don't care for in the least.

dark souls 2 remaster is coming to PC as well so u have inferior version of it ON PC if u run that old crap same with some of thta other stuff

I'm not into remasters of games I already finished.

However, Tearaway Unfolded offers some new additions to the new 2013 IP Tearaway (87/100 metascore) that was grossly neglected by many gamers. It was overlooked because of the platform 2013's Tearaway was on, the Vita, and it releasing during the PS4 launch in Nov 2013 which overshadowed a new IP, no matter how great, on a small install base platform. Tearaway Unfolded has my very slight interest.

I say slight because I'm not into remasters of games I've played and beat, even with the added content.

I am more interested in Ratchet and Clank Reboot due later this year by Insomniac games. It's not a remaster, it's more of a re imagining but that game has my interest depending on how comprehensive it is.

@lamprey263: Yes to both new Remake 2 hd and and improved version of the mass effrct gamed with all side content. Whatever the haters may say, mass effect games (and dragon age games as well) are excellent with a special quality most other devs don't have.

Of that list, Dark Souls because I haven't played it and I did enjoy the first game.

But beyond that I'd like a mass effect trilogy remastered. And if you're really giving me the keys to the kingdom I'd like a kotor remastered redrawn with today's technology... I was going to say that [Tearaway] but it's more of a re-imagining than a remaster. Pretty much an entirely new game except with the same setting/story.

Does GTA V PC count (it's a remaster of the last gen version at least)? If so, that one.

So many "remasters"... The only one I'm interested in right now is The Last of Us on ps4 and that only when it drops in price. I generally don't care about these ports unless I haven't played the game before and it looks interesting.

REmaster worked because it was a cheap HD update of a game that was already remade in the Gamecube era (not to mention the fact that they also ported the remake to the original Wii).

To remaster RE2 to the same standards, Capcom would have to make an all-out remake of a game from the PS1 era. I don't see them dropping that kind of money on an old project, no matter how successful REmaster was.
