Side note: Dark and Demon Souls wasn't too hard. Had a harder time with SMT 3: Nocturne (Played first playthrough in Hard Mode. Lost the first fight). That game put me to bed so many times. >_>
every time i let myself get hyped for a DA game they find a new and creative way to let me down. witcher 3 looks great but i want to see more of the combat system.

Looking forward to Pokemon too but I don't really classify it as an RPG for some reason. Probably because I really only play it to compete with my friends, and since they are making it easier to compete with others online, and all the other changes they are making. I'M RLY HYPED FOR IT!! :D

Pokemon is still one of the leading examples of RPGs out there along with having one of the deepest metagames in any RPG. But yeah, be hyped!

the first one didn't let you down in a way because it was too short imo. the second game was rushed and just awful all around but i liked the combat system
Dragon Age. I liked both of them more than any other series entry/previous dev game on that list. My second would be Witcher 3. I couldn't get into Witcher 2 but I liked Skyrim. Apparently Witcher 3 is going to be like Skyrim so I'll check it out, especially since only god knows when a new Bethesda RPG is coming.

even with sidequests? i seem to remember playing for like, idk, 40-60 hours???? i think i did just about every sidequest and after a while they were getting repetitive. it's still a great game and i think it could benefit a lot from being a more open world style of game.

South Park Stick of Truth looks the most refreshing I guess. Dark Souls 2 and Witcher 3 look wunderbar as well. You couldn't pay me enough money to get excited for a Dragon Age game. The original was a god damn sleeping pill.
