Which version of GTA 4 will be better? PS3 or Xbox?

Although i never was a big fan of GTA ( i guess there really is something wrong with me) but i just couldn't help myself but wondering about when GTA 4 will be released which system will be the better version? the PS one or the Xbox one?I didn't wanted to say this in any PS or Xbox forums because i knew that it would attract fanboys instantly but i just can't help but ask that question. Mind you it really doesn't affect me about which version will be better of if they will be equal. Since Rockstar expressed troubles with development on both systems, I just hope it is equal on all platforms...Mcgnnis1

It's ironic that you took this to system wars. I'll go out on a limb and say fanboys are worse here than on their respective console's boards.

You couldn't ask this question on other boards without getting modded from my experience.

Anyway, until the PS3 has DLC confirmed it will probably be the 360 unless the PS3 version runs much better. We haven't even seen the PS3 version yet from what I know so it is too early to say.

No idea. R* have expressed troubles with both versions.

This "exclusive" content deal should be interesting. Just to recap, every GTA game that R* has made since GTAIII was called "exclusive"...until they announced it for other systems. But with MS throwing alot of cash their way, dunno about this DLC.

It bugs me that they announced the content on day one but don't wanna just put it in the game already, so they can charge us more later.

Get the version that has the controler you're most comfortable with. The games should be identicle. As for the DLC, if R* wanted the stuff in the game, it would be in the final game.dr-venkman

Yeah I guess DLC shouldn't be brought up if you are simply straight up comparing the two. Either way like I said we haven't been told we are looking at the PS3 version so it is too early to say.

OK this is probably a stupid question but why are the cows making such a big deal out of the HDD advantage of the PS3?

the PS2 had no HDD at all butt these games still kicked but so why is it going to be such a problem now

360's got DLC, rumble, and achievements. and i prefer the 360 controller much more100Gamer

The PS3 version will have all that to and likely shorter load times due to a dedicated harddrive.

only reason, its like CoD4 and AC, they'll look the same, only by ripping apart things by screen by screen u'll be able to tell and even then thats not much.

PS3 version in every area except the DLC...... which I really don't understand why you all pretend like it's a big deal. You're just going to be paying like $15 for some stupid extra missions that won't have anything to do with the main game. Lazy_Boy88

personally i think they will both be the same, some people will try and use the gametrailers comparison to say hey look theres an extra blade of grass over their etc but they will both be great for each console.

kataku site said they could not run it on 360 without downgrades cus there is not stnaderd hard drive. also dvd is to small. 360 does have extra content but you have to pay extra so using that as ownage is pooriamanoobkillme

I remember reading something about DVD limiting them slightly and the ps3's cell to be difficult to program for or something but i dont think i ever read anywhere about downgrades due ot lack of HDD, care to show me where it said that?

Yeah you are right on that though. But again i probably would have ben modded for that post if i would have posted it in any particular console forums. (if i am correct). I once ranted on Itgakai's decision to stick with Xbox and they locked the forum.
