None, because I mostly work 10-12hr shifts and i just want to sit on the couch at the end of the day and play games.
VR is insanely pointless and ridiculously expensive. Why would I ever touch it... It's the weakest gaming gimmick I've seen in a good long while... Perhaps ever.
@flyincloud1116: I know right, one minute they hate a gimmick, the next minute they hype one up, fanboys be so funny.
None. Not only am I not interested, but it's too early. I'm not impressed at all...especially with PSVR. Looks terrible.
I'm not rich enough for any of them at the moment, but I think I'll wait anyways for a killer app or two to come out.
I also dislike the idea that there might be exclusives between each of the headsets as well such as an Oculus Rift exclusive game, or a Vive exclusive... That'll just be horrible. I'll wait until the VR market is a bit more mature to make a better decision.
None, I just bought a : https://www.overclockers.co.uk/acer-predator-xb271hu-27-2560x1440-ips-g-sync-165hz-gaming-widescreen-led-monitor-black-red-mo-098-ac.html
Reason being, the power and cost to drive what is ultimetely far to early to call "Future proof technology" isn't worth the effort... so I splashed for the current enthusiast monitor standard... which is hard enough to run with a 970 GTX as it is ... let alone a fancy VT headset that costs as much/more that can only be used for a small portion of games/applications...
really not ready to jump in.
Vive. Already ordered mine but it isn't shipping until sometime in May.
@MBirdy88 And that's a great monitor. I just picked one up myself a few months back. Grats on it.

Yeah, maybe Nintendo can make none gimmick consoles this time.
I'm leaning towards PS VR. The possibility that I might be able to use it with both my PS4 and PC and the lower price outweighs the lower resolution and smaller FOV. I've got my pre-order in on Amazon, so I still have about 6 months to change my mind and not be out any money and if I decide for it I can still get it on day 1.
@flyincloud1116: I hope not, i love gimmicks.
Well that may end Nintendo then, the public are tired of gimmicks according to the WiiU and X1 w/kinect sales.
None whatsoever
I might get it when there is a killer app and the technology has had more advancements.
Because right now, a lot of the games appearing on the device seems like software that got rejected from Kinect/PS Movie/Wii motion controls, yes, it looks that bad
TBH after you have played room scale VR, sitting down VR with a controller just isnt as good. Its nice to have a sit down and play after a few days with room scale though, especially with games that put you in a cockpit like flight sims and what not, but being able to walk around and interact with things just makes the virtual world more real, even games that have cartoony graphics are incredibly convincing, Minecraft for example, (love it or hate it) is absolutely amazing in Room scale VR.
After trying the PSVR and also seeing other peoples "meh" reactions to it after being on the Vive, I can easily say it is the worst of the three but I still think it will be a success for people that cant afford the better option.
For me at least, I am glad I went with the Vive, as I would have been quite disappointed if I had spent all that money on the second or third best option.
None.
^This Even Giant Bomb isn't so excited with VR as well as no compelling software to even think its worth getting into VR

^^
Also too many different headsets, if it was three I'd consider one.
Oh and I hate wearing huge plastic things over my face when I want to play a game.
google cardboard vr is better ! lol
but may be i will buy a sony vr only for ace combat 7 and gran turismo. if they turn out to be good on VR
