This topic is spurred on by the geometry of the 360 logo. For startes, it has been years since i have taken geometry so i may be wrong. anyways, my point is that, when you say 360, that refers to a 2-d plane, but they have a sphere for the logo, so any given side of that sphere will have 360 degrees, but you can't really measure 3 dimensional shapes with degrees. My second point is that,... let's say that they meant a circle and not a sphere, it would be redundant to say XBOX 360 as boxes, if you are referring to them on a 2-d plane, have 360 degrees. While I am glad that they didn't say XBOX 2, their current name is technically either redundant or just doesn't work.
Having said all that what are your opinions if you actually care?
p.s. I still like the name Xbox360, and this is my 5001 post8)
