Which will be the better 'hybrid genre' game this year? Metroid:Other M vs. LBP2

These two games are noteworthy in that they both blur the lines between one genre and another. Other M allows you to play in either 3rd-person or 1st-person shooter style, while LBP2 is straddling the line between platformer, party game, and traditional arcade shooter.

Metroid: Other M has some pretty ambitious game design

LBP2 is extremely ambitious, albeit i guess we'll see what the game is really capable of

I don't even know where to begin comparing these 2 games... I think LBP2 will score better. Thats all i can really guess.

I honestly believe Little Big Planet 2 is the only real contender to beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 for game of the year. I think LBP2 might have some of the same issues as LBP1, but it's greatly expanding on what made the game fun in the first place. So I think it's going to be great.jg4xchamp

LittleBigPlanet 2 you create what you want. Metroid Other M is already Created.

Metroid isnt really a hybrid of genres. Looks like an action/adventure with multiple perspectives.

Because of that, LBP2.

I also think itll be the better game.
