Pretty obvious this year. Wii>360>>PS3 in total sales. Next year is a better question. PS3 could easily overtake 360 in 08 and the Wii fad will likely die down.

are you serious? you really believe the PS3 can pass the 360 in 2008 in total sales?
Now wii and 360 aren't tied with wii at the number of 12 and 360 at 13 while ps3 actually gets 2 votes. this is going somewhat like it is acutally in life.
PS3 because of quality games like Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted.DaysAirlines
It may help it in sales, but there's no way it will overtake the other two consoles. Even if they were suddenly choked in sales, it would still take the PS3 years to catch up.
The 360 will be ahead after the holidays are over for a number of reasons.....
1. Games...The 360 has by far the best line up of games for new and current 360 owners to ponder. When you conside that Halo 3, Mass Effect and PGR 4 are totally 360 exclusive and Bioshock is CONSOLE exclusive plus the fact that the next biggest FPS that will hit the market in 2007....Half Life 2 Orange Box isnt on the 360's biggest competiton for sales(the Wii), there is simply no mistaking who the winner of 2007 is as far as console sales are concerned!
2. The 360 gives you the best package for the best price.For $400, the 360 Premium gives you HDgaming, DVD playback, and access to play games online over XBOX Live.
I'm gonna lean towards Xbox. I think it's very possible that the Wii could pass it though, you can never tell what Christmas'll bring. Might also depend on if people get Assassin's Creed for 360 or PS3.
The problem the Wii is going to run into is that there wont be enough to keep up with demand. Even right now it is by sheer luck if you can walk into a Target, Walmart or Best Buy and find Wii's just sitting and waiting to be purchased. What is going to happen when SMG and SSBB come out?
The wii has surpassed all fairly quickly now. Scores: Wii: 36 360: 23 Ps3: still 2. i'll be giving commentaries every once and a while just to let you know. at the end of the year i'm gonna bring this thing back up and lets see what people think. keep posting people. i read every one of them.
360 and wii are gonna be neck and neck, it could go either way, and the winner will be determined by a very slim margin. PS3 will come in dead last, way behind the other two.
