Quest Part

The Story Part and Live Part are seamless and a Town Square is mentioned. Speculation here, but my guess is when you enter a city, you get transferred to a server or what not. Up to 16 avatars (players) can be in any given Town Square. From there, you can party up with up to 4 players to go questing and what not. Items can also be traded between players, though details aren't available yet.

When has Level 5 disappointed in the gameplay department :)? I'm astonished they are doing this. I've never seen a JRPG go this far with co-op. I want to hear more about it for sure :D.

uh yes i played it i did have a ps2 and i thought the combat was fun but everything else was not the towns and dungeons were so bland and repeatative they were just copy and paste.

I have to agree. It seems like this may be like a mini MMO sort of. I can't wait since it's their biggest project they have made and they put so much time into it.

Yeah... it's taking a LONG time. But I'm glad to see while Level 5 were working hard and learning the new architecture of the Cell they were adding amazing features along the way.

- Create your own hero with the Playstation Eye
- 100+ hours
- Online co-op (possibly 4 people in a party)
- Robot knights :lol:

lol the haters in this thread arnt level 5 haters, there PS3 haters and 360 fanboys thats all, I mean create your own character through eye toy, online coop and meet people in a town sqaure to talk team up and trade items, 100+ hours of gamplay.... I mean cmon this sounds awesome for a jrpg, I always thought this gen JRPGs just didnt take that next step, they were always just the same stuff but with a prettier coat of paint, But this does sound like a true next gen Jrpg experience that hopefully more devs will follow
