I don't see the downgrade. The top screen looks better imo. I just don't get these downgrade threads anyways. What is the point?

Are we just trying to say the Sony "lied again". Just like they did with HS, Lair, Uncharted and Killzone. Opps, I forgot--they are turning out better then their TARGET renders.

I don't know about you guys, but I am so tired of these "downgrade complete" threads. All they are is to hate on something. Why not enjoy what system you have and enjoy the games you have, instead of bashing what other people have. I could post "downgrade complete threads" on other systems too. Heck look at Halo3--the game does not even look close to the supposed real time trailer that we saw a year ago. But do I care? No! Why, because it still looks great.

Word of advice--quit caring so much about things that just don't matter.

The only downgrade I see is a bit less detail in the lighting, and there isn't as much AA applied. Other than that, there's more detail overall, and the colors are richer. Is it a fair trade-off? You Decide!

I don't like the new screens either, It looks like FFXII HD

In it's defense, however, FFXII is a pretty game.

I agree. Character models look a bit worse, but look at the ground textures and grass, they look much better now.

Um, the textures are better. The trailer wasn't even gameplay, and the real gameplay is a substantial step up.

Other than a change of lighting and color (only natural when the environment has a day-to-night cycle), these shots look pretty much the same as the TGS 06 trailer. It looks even better in motion too.
