White or black - which color do you prefer for your system?

White is ok but I prefer my consoles black.

Depends, but I can say I prefer a matted finish as compared to a glossy one.

When I got my Switch I wanted the red/blue joy-cons but had to settle with the gray, didn't have a choice.

Anyhow, people always talk about dust like a neglected console but even the ones I play all the time end up covered in it all the same, so whatever I get, it just ends up dusty. Handhelds are the exception.

White PS5 with White Switch OLED is the way to go ignore all the black only colors I like white way better stands out.

After seeing white consoles turn yellow with age (eew), I'll stick with black.

Depends on the system. Generally black but I'm enjoying the white of my PS5. Makes it stand out a bit more.

Black is the better color cause it helps the system blends into your entertainment system.

No sane person will ever answer "white". I wrapped my ps5 with a carbon textured venyl in black, and it looks soooooooo much better. Even tho the system is the same, it look much more premium now.

Black. I guess it's just what I prefer. No reason in particular though I feel as if it blends in better with the furniture?

I'm open to different color combos and not averse to something standing out, but I'd rather have all black. Even my Dreamcast is black.

Only white, but its pretty easy to change the color. I originally sprayed both side plates with plastidip (peelable paint), was tired of it, and did the carbon wrap. My ocd is triggering the shit outta me tho because i didn't wrap it perfectly🤢

I'd rather it just be an app with dark mode like Xbox.

I strongly prefer a black console than a white one, but I often ask why the white Switch OLED model seems to sell out quicker than the blue and red model. Strange that Nintendo offered a white model but not a black model.

Black should always be an option for a console.

I certainly prefer consoles/PC cases on the darker side of the colour spectrum. but i also like them to have a little bit of flair. All black can get pretty boring too.

Consoles aren't more special than any of my other black electronics.

Honestly I wish they had more colors to choose from. They should do it up like the N64 (one of the few things they got right at the time in my opinion).

We know you can change the PS5 faceplates, so it's about damn time they put some different colors and designs up for sale or stop suing and shutting down small businesses trying to capitalize on that market.

All my systems are white so I'll go with that.

Black is best, but it isn't a big deal. They could release a red, pink or yellow Xbox and I would still buy it. Most consoles I have seen have their own charm, expect perhaps for the boring Sega Master System and the ugly PS5.

I just a simple machine that does what it needs to and call it a day so yeah, Black/White doesn't matter to me.

"Yes". My opinion sways back and forth at roughly the same pace as the manufacturers swing from one to the other. I will say, though, that I am kinda partial to those rare generations where they decide to give the buyer some choice. Nintendo is the most famous for this but it was cool when Sony released some Arctic White PS4 Pros etc.

Same. The PS5 looks nice in black, and so does the Dualsense -- but they'd look better with a dark gray or black color scheme.

Black but I honestly like it better when you have different colors to choose from. Gives your system a bit of individuality.
