[QUOTE="RobNBankz"] I think it's hilarious how all lemmings went by reviews and bashed SOCOM for it's online issues when Gears of War 2 has it's own. The game is incredibly laggy. I went to go play Wingman with my friend this morning and everyone besides myself and one other player got disconnected so we ended up playing a 1v1 Wingman.
I wouldn't necessarily bash the gameplay, I enjoy it. The shotgun isn't underpowered, it just takes more skill to use. A few things I dislike are the mortar (it's nearly impossible to play submission with a mortar on the map) and how the smokes/frags still damage you when you have a boomshield/meatshield. Playing any objective gametype is annoying because frags constantly respawn. It feels like its on a 10 second timer.
I'll wait until they hopefully fix all the kinks with the game. Until then, I will keep playing with bots and Horde.

except Socom issues were a FACT every one experienced them they had to release an update what a day or a week after the game was released to fix CRIPPLING ISSUES.
Gears of war 2s issues aren't universal not every one experiences them, which is reflected in reviews, I reccomend you get a better connection or stop trying to play the game with people from japan you'll get much less lag, I've yet to experience much lag that isn't because the person i played with only has like 300kb down wireless connection.

Whats better? graphics, sound, story, multiplayer is better because its not a bunch of glitchers running around with shutguns using nothing but shotguns new modes, 5vs5 instead of 4vs4 the netcode is much better cause i've been in quite a few multiplayer matches that didn't lag cause we all had a good connection and didn't live in other countries.
Every room I joined, 8/10 people said they had lag or experienced some other issue.
Stop playing with people in Japan? Um, sure. Can you tell me when UK officially changed it's name to Japan? I have a great connection thank you very much. In Gears 1 which was notorious was host advantage and lag, I was asked to always rehost because my connection was smooth and most of the known issues were non existant.
How about you stop thinking you = the world. Just because you haven't experienced issues doesn't mean nobody has. If that's the case, SOCOM had no issues because I was fine from launch.
