Hmmm probably Arkane is at the top of the list. Prey was pretty damn innovative, and the last couple Dishonored games were great fun. I love the game engine they developed, too, looks incredible and really lends itself well to artistic and creative level design, things look like oil paintings.
Colossal Order only made one game, but my god what a game. Cities: Skylines has consumed so much of my time. Not a lot of games earn a permanent spot on my hard drive, but this game has. It's there when I need it, when I don't want to play some intense shooter, or invest of effort into an RPG, and so forth.
It's nice to see Obsidian kicking ass again, bringing back the RPG mechanics and aesthetics of yesteryear with games like Pillars of Eternity and Tyranny. Them getting access to the South Park license was also pretty great, as those games are not only hilarious, but pretty damn fun, too.
Oh and almost forgot to mention Creative Assembly. Warhammer Total War 1/2 is INCREDIBLE! As are pretty much every single Total War game.
