First off i dont care about ratings never did when i had ps1 and ps2. I just went into the store and check the back cover to see what the game was about and if it look very good i bought it or waited for it to become cheaper. So why should we care what other people say about the game if its fun to me then its a good game to me.

Back covers of video games are like the back covers of porno's. Not a real indication of what you might be getting. You should do some research before you drop hard-earned cash on a new game especially when those games are at $59.99.
i remember when lair, warhawk, and HSwere first announced people were going crazy hyping all of them as AAA and posting millions of posts with screen shots claiming ownage..... and now it looks like they are all flopping and any one of those games will be LUCKY if it even gets 8.0..... now please remind me... WERENT these first party exclusives the games that were supposed to show the power of the ps3 and completely DESTROY the 360.....just goes to show that BLU-RAY players were meant for movies and NOT palying games.... i actually feel a lil sad for ps3 fans...
Well when i first saw resistance in best buy and played motorstorm that when i knew ps3 was for me i didnt even read anything online any reviews on either games and i think both of them are some best games to come out in this gen
Why should we care about reviews? Because they're an excellent indication as to whether a game is worth your hard-earned money. If I'm going to drop 600 euro on a console, I want to be damn sure that there are quality titles for me to play.
Well if the game iffy from the box i usually go on here and the reviews to see if they got good ones and to learn more about the game. Also with next gen its more about the videos i watch on the ps3 about the game to see if it looks cool or crappy.
