Who do you think has the strongest looking launch line up?

The below show all the games currently confirmed as day one release titles for both the Xbox and Playstation. All the focus so far has been on company policy and the consoles themselves. In the end though most of us will be buying them for games.  With only 6 games not appearing on both platforms is there enough to differentiate the two consoles? Is there even enough to entice you into buying day one?

For me personally the strongest titles look to be multiplatform, with only Killzone, PlanetSide 2 and Dead Rising 3 really interesting me from those not on both systems.

The only title I'm interested in is Titan Fall from Xbone. Killzone Shadow Fall looks good, but it's not as good as Killzone 2.

PS4. Not that it really matters to me.

In terms of exclusives, both have pretty weak line-ups in my opinion. The only games that have my interest are Killer Instinct, Killzone, and Dead Rising 3. I'm sure the Driving games will be fun, but I always get bored after a while. I've played PlanetSide 2 on the PC, it's a decent game, it gets very repetitive though. It'll be interesting to see how it plays on the PS4.

The only game I'm interested in on either is inFAMOUS Second Son, but I'd have to say the X1 launch looks better, but I would never support that consumer rights robbing system.

X1 has a strong line up. Wii U also has some great games on the horizon. PS4 looks to be a wasteland rivaling the early years of the PS3 :?

They're both weak as hell TBH.

Out of the excluives, only Knack and Planetside 2 really interest me.

The PS4 is a better more consumer friendly console. The launch games are about the same, but Sony will have many more exclusives over MS as time passes.

Neither are that compelling exclusive wise. I think PS4 has the edge though, as in X1 the only game there of interest to me is Forza 5.

Really does show the number of people Microsoft are losing due to their policies. Responses in this thread suggest a lot of previous 360 fans still prefer the game line up on 360 but it simply doesn't matter. Ofcourse this is system wars so no doubt some comments will be strategic to create controversy.

To be blunt both consoles' launch lineups look like shit to me.

The only 2 announced games I'm mildly interested in (Destiny and The Order: 1886) aren't going to drop to who knows when in 2014.

I'm more interested with the PS4 lineup: Knack, Drive Club, and Kill Zone.  The only game I'd want to play on the Xbox One is Forza 5.

as a ps3 fan i cannot help but admit that Microsoft Xbox One has a much more solid exclusive lineup at launch. sony's lack of games is one of the reasons i cancelled my ps4 preorder.
