Who else hated Halo?

Sometimes in movies, games, and books you just can't get into them and you hate them. I gave every Halo a chance, but I can't explain it that I just didn't like it... It had good graphics but the story seemed over dramatized, FPS on Xbox controllers have bothered me, and it seemed to drag on. Now before you label me a snobbish cow, I hated Metal Gear Solid 4 even more. I'm just saying everyone I know raves about it save a few people, yet I could just never get into it. Anyone else feel Halo was overrated? And lets try not to flame, its only opinions no need to get defensive.

I must have the worst luck, everytime I post on system wars people tell me I should have posted someplace else and report me. I see all sorts of posts that have NOTHING to do with system wars but people don't care because a level 19+ posted it up and no one cares about that, but I "bash" a 360 exclusive and suddenly I should post someplace else. I hated all of them with a passion. The funny thing is all Lemmings think 360 has a great line up 09 because they are coming out with 2 more. MS cant be creative and make anything worth playing so its halo and gears. By 2010 will be hearing halo 45 is coming and Gears 10 is on its way. PS3 PWNS.djsifer01

I think Halo as a fps is a mediocre generic shooter which I do think is overhyped don't get me wrong it's not a bad game if your in the mood of shooting it will fill you up, personally I like the dark tone of Killzone 2 better than killing alien clowns in some forest I just prefer the helghans and it's dark coridors.

IIf I had a pick of a 360 game I would not pick it up I think Left 4 Dead is much better it's more innovating with all the zombies on screen at the same time, it's dark and I like the witches but so far Halo to me is mehh

Just because he has an avatar of Killzone 2 does not mean that he hasn't given halo a chance it just means he prefers games like Killzone 2.

I also played Halo and don't like it that much it was ok but didn't catch my interest for long

I'm hoping ODST changes things up a bit though with better gameplay and better use of the quality story this series could have that Bungie neglects to implement into the game and instead leaves it for novels and whatever Peter Jackson is up to.

I think Halo is overrated, and if you take a look at my signature, you'll see an Xbox Live Gamertag. Look closer, and you'll also notice that the last game I played on my 360 was Halo 3.

so if I get a master chief avatar and say i dont like halo will that convince you ? maybe the TC likes Killzone 2 and want's to represent it how do you know he hasn't given halo a chance ?

I can personally tell you i gave it a chance and it didn't blow me off my feet it was mediocre at best.

LOL, more seriously though, I think that Halo is decent, but I never could understand why it has such a massive fanbase when there are so many better shooters out there.
